Abstract
Lansekap koridor merupakan impresi pertama yang ditampilkan dari suatu kawasan perkotaan. Salah satu lansekap koridor jalan yang patut diperhatikan yaitu koridor Jalan Kertanegara – Semeru karena pada koridor tersebut merupakan koridor jalan yang memiliki karakter yang kuat serta merupakan salah satu sumbu utama yang ada di Kota Malang. Selain itu koridor jalan tersebut merupakan koridor yang kerap dilalui pengguna jalan baik pengendara kendaraan bermotor ataupun pejalan kaki. Selain itu koridor Jalan Kertanegara – Semeru merupakan salah satu koridor jalan yang telah direncanakan sebagai pusat Kota oleh Ir. Karsten. Namun Kota Malang dari waktu ke waktu memiliki kualitas visual yang banyak berubah dari rencana pembangunan awal kota yang telah direncanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas visual serta rekomendasi penataan yang tepat untuk Koridor Jalan Kertanegara – Semeru berdasarkan visual pejalan kaki. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE). Terdapat beberapa variabel yang digunakan yaitu diantaranya skala, keleluasaan visual, keindahan, penekanan, keseimbangan dan dominan. Berdasarkan variabel tersebut dilakukan penilaian oleh pejalan kaki sebagai responden. Melalui penilaian pejalan kaki, dapat dilihat variabel apa yang dinilai rendah dan tinggi sehingga dapat diperoleh rekomendasi yang sesuai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kualitas visual tinggi yang terdapat pada jalan Kertanegara, Jalan Tugu dan Jalan Kahuripan. Sedangkan foto dengan kualitas visual rendah berada di Jalan Semeru. Kemudian foto dengan kualitas tinggi menjadi referensi untuk melakukan rekomendasi penataan pada foto dengan kualitas visual rendah serta ditinjau pula dari keseuaiannya dengan historis yang dimiliki.
English Abstract
Street corridor landscape could be the first impression to see an urban area. One of the street corridor landscape to be observed is the Kertanegara – Semeru corridor because on the corridor has strong character and the one of the main axis in Malang City. Additionally on that corridor frequently traversed of motorist or pedestrians. Besides that, Kertanegara – Semeru corridor is one of the planned corridor as the Centre of the city by IR. Karsten. But currently city of Malang have a visual quality that changed a lot from the initial development plan of the city that had been planned. This research aims to know the visual quality and recommendations for corridor Kertanegara – Semeru based on visual pedestrian. The method used in this study is , Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE). There are several variables that are used including scale, flexibility of visual, beauty, balance and emphasis, dominant. According to these variables followed by an assessment by pedestrians as respondents. Through the assessment of pedestrian, it can be seen what variable low and high rated so that the appropriate recommendation can be obtained The results show that the high visual quality on Kertanegara, Tugu and the Kahuripan streets. While the photos with a low visual quality being on the Semeru street. High quality photo then become references to do the visual recommendation on photos with a low visual quality and also reviewed from a historical also owned.
