Abstract

Setiap perusahaan baik perusahaan manufaktur maupun jasa akan terus meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaannya dalam segala aspek. Dalam industri manufaktur, produktivitas suatu perusahaan dapat dilihat dari kemampuan perusahaan dalam menjalankan proses produksi secara efektif dan efisien. Semakin efisien sistem produksi perusahaan tersebut, maka semakin sedikit timbulnya waste dalam aktivitas produksinya. PT. Gatra Mapan Ngijo merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menghasilkan produk furniture . Dalam melakukan proses produksinya terjadi ketidaksesuaian hasil output produksi dengan target produksi yang ditentukan. Hal tersebut terjadi karena ditemukan adanya waste pada kegiatan proses produksi. Analisis difokuskan pada produk Dino Sideboard 2 D 3 yang mempunyai volume produksi tertinggi. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pendekatan lean manufacturing untuk menciptakan continuous improvement pada proses proses produksi dengan metode cost integrated value stream mapping . Aspek biaya yang dihitung pada value stream menggunakan konsep Activity Based Costing (ABC) yang menekankan pengelolaan bisnis berdasarkan aktivitas. Setelah itu, dilakukan penggambaran current cost integrated value stream mapping untuk melihat waste yang terjadi. Waste pada current state map dianalisis menggunakan konsep delapan waste . Waste yang terjadi kemudian dianalisis dan dicari akar penyebabnya dengan menggunakan analisis Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Dari akar penyebab tersebut, kemudian diberikan usulan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan. Dari usulan perbaikan yang ada, dibuat penggambaran future cost integrated value stream mapping . Selanjutnya yaitu membandingkan current dan future state map untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi. Dari kedelapan waste yang telah dianalisis, maka secara secara keseluruhan waste yang terjadi merupakan waste yang diprioritaskan untuk menjadi perhatian dalam proses produksi. Waste tersebut yaitu waste of defect , waste of waiting , dan underutilizing people . Dari analisis tiga waste prioritas tersebut, diambil tiga rekomendasi perbaikan. Usulan rekomendasi perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu pengiriman bahan baku dari supplier dilakukan seminggu dua kali, penerapan continuous flow pada ketiga line workstation awal, dan pembuatan kartu kontrol perbaikan pada mesin. Hasil perubahan dari usulan rekomendasi perbaikan yang diusulkan yaitu inventory cost berkurang sebesar Rp 33.590,00. Total production lead time berkurang 12,87 hari, total cycle time berkurang 5,148 menit, dan travel distance berkurang sebanyak 22 meter. Selain itu, dari target biaya yang telah ditentukan, total value added dan non value added cost berkurang sebesar Rp 24.000,00.

English Abstract

Each company both manufacturing and services companies will continue to increase its productivity in all aspects. In the manufacturing industry, the productivity of a company can be seen from the company’s ability to run the production process effectively and efficiently. PT. Gatra Mapan Ngijo is a manufacturing company that produces furniture. In the production process, there is a discrepancy between the production output with the production targets. This happens because it found the existence of waste in production processes.. Analysis focused on products Dino Sideboard 2 D 3 that has the highest production volume. In this study, lean manufacturing approach is conducted to creating a continuous improvement in the production process with cost integrated value stream mapping method. Cost aspects is calculated on the value stream by using the concepts of Activity Based Costing (ABC) which emphasizes activity-based business management. After that, the depiction of the current cost integrated value stream mapping is done to see the waste that occurs. Waste at the current state map is analyzed using the concept of eight waste. Waste that occurs then will analyzed by using the Root Cause Analysis ( RCA). From the root causes , and then be given suggestions on improvements that can be done . Improvement of the existing proposals , made ​​depiction of the future cost of integrated value stream mapping . After that, comparing the current and future state map to see the changes that occur . From the eighth waste that has been analyzed , the overall waste is waste that happens to be a priority concern in the production process . The waste s are waste of defects , waste of waiting , and underutilizing people . From the analysis of the three priority waste , taken three recommendations for improvement . Proposed recommendations for improvement given the shipment of raw materials from suppliers is done twice a week , the application of continuous flow at the beginning of the third line workstations , and card making improvements to the machine control . The results of the proposed changes to the proposed recommendations for improvements that reduced inventory cost of Rp 33 .
