Abstract
Selama ini PT. Tlogomas E.P.I menggunakan pendekatan FCFS dan EDD sebagai acuan dalam menentukan prioritas job dan menyusun jadwal produksi. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, PT. Tlogomas E.P.I lebih sering mengandalkan kemampuan manajerial dari supervisor, sehingga jadwal produksi menjadi bersifat tentatif dan tidak menentu. Selain itu jadwal produksi masih dirasa kurang efektif, karena proses produksi PT. Tlogomas E.P.I masih sering mengalami overlap job yang pada akhirnya akan menimbulkan berbagai risiko, termasuk risiko terjadinya keterlambatan (lateness). Berdasarkan data rencana dan realisasi produksi periode Januari 2014, dapat diketahui bahwa PT. Tlogomas E.P.I sering mengalami lateness (+) dan lateness (-), dengan masing-masing total lateness sebesar 17 hari dan 18 hari. Selain itu, overlap job yang terjadi juga meningkatkan rata-rata waktu job berada dalam sistem (mean flow time) sebesar 13.5 hari. Sebenarnya PT. Tlogomas E.P.I telah memiliki cara tersendiri untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya keterlambatan penyelesaian job, yaitu dengan menambah jam lembur sewaktu waktu dan melakukan penyisipan job ketika ada sejumlah job yang telah mendekati due date. Namun cara tersebut mengakibatkan sering terjadi set up ulang dan peningkatan biaya produksi secara signifikan. Sehingga untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan terebut, maka dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan dua model algoritma penjadwalan produksi yang diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif metode yang kompetitif untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan optimasi multi tujuan yang lebih nyata dan dapat diimplementasikan langsung pada PT. Tlogomas E.P.I. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikembangkan dua model algoritma heuristik berbasis EDD dan MST. Model algoritma 1 adalah algoritma heuristik berbasis EDD yang dimodifikasi dan diintegrasikan dengan konsep algoritma LPT. Sedangkan model algoritma 2 adalah algoritma heuristik berbasis MST yang kemudian juga akan diintegrasikan dengan dengan konsep algoritma LPT. Proses penjadwalan dilakukan dengan pendekatan maju (forward approach) yang dimulai dari titik waktu ke nol. Pemilihan posisi didasarkan pada kriteria tertentu dengan memperhatikan terpenuhinya semua urutan proses (routing) dan hubungan proses pendahulu (precedence) yang ada diantara setiap operasi. Selain itu, urutan operasi job juga akan dipertimbangkan dalam menentukan waktu setup pada tahap operasi pertama (SDST). Tiga ukuran optimasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah minimasi mean flow time, total earliness time, dan total tardiness time yang dicapai secara simultan. Dari hasil pengujian dan analisis disimpulkan bahwa kedua model algoritma yang telah dikembangkan sesuai dan dapat diimplementasikan pada sistem produksi PT. Tlogomas E.P.I. Selain, juga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model algoritma yang paling mendekati optimal untuk periode produksi Januari 2014 adalah model algoritma 1 (dengan pendekatan earliest due date) dengan mean flow time, total earliness time dan total tardiness time masing-masing sebesar (12.81, -12.23, 4.31) dengan skor risiko sebesar 31.
English Abstract
During this time, PT. Tlogomas E.P.I using the FCFS and EDDs approach as a reference in determining the priority of job scheduling and production. But in practice, PT. Tlogomas E.P.I more often rely on managerial ability of supervisors, so that the production schedule will be tentative and uncertain. Besides that, the production schedule still proved less effective, because the production process of PT Tlogomas E.P.I often have overlap job that will eventually causing a various kind of risks, including the occurrence of the delays risk (lateness). Based on production plan and actual data on January 2014, will be find out that PT. Tlogomas E.P.I often experiences the lateness (+) and lateness (-), with each of the total lateness are 17 days and 18 days. Besides that, overlap job that occur also increases the average of jobs time in the system (mean flow time) are 13.5 days. Actually, PT. Tlogomas E.P.I has been had its own way to anticipate the occurrence of lateness in jobs completion, by adding the overtime hours at any time and do insertion job when the numerous job has approached the due date. But that way often resulting re-set up and increased production costs significantly. So, to resolve this problems, this research will be developed two models of the expected production scheduling algorithm that will become an alternative of competitive methods for solving multiple objective optimization more tangible and can be implemented directly in the PT. Tlogomas E.P.I. This research will be developed two heuristics algorithm model based EDD and MST. The Algorithm model 1 is a heuristic algorithm based EDD that modified and integrated with the concept of LPT algorithm. While the algorithm model 2 is a heuristic algorithm based MST that will be integrated with the concept of LPT algorithm. Scheduling process is done with forward approach that starts from the time point to zero. The position selection based on certain criteria with regard to fulfilled all the process (routing) and the relation of precedence process (precedence) between each operation. Beside that, the operating sequence of the job will be consideration in determining the time of first operation stage setup (SDST). Three sizes of optimization that used in this research are minimize mean flow time, total of earliness time, and total of tardiness time that achieved simultaneously. Based on the testing and analysis results concluded that both of the algorithm models which have been developed are appropriate and can be implemented in PT. Tlogomas E.P.Is production system. Besides, it can also be concluded that the most optimal algorithms model for production period January 20014 is a algorithm model (with the earliest due date approaches) with each time of mean flow time, total earliness time and total tardiness time are (12.8112: 23,--4.31) with a score of risk is 31.
