Abstract
Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC) adalah sebuah inovasi dalam teknologi pembuatan beton yang tidak memerlukan proses pemadatan untuk menempati bekistingnya dan memadat sendiri. Pada penelitian ini pembuatan SCC digunakan untuk memanfaatkan potensi material lokal zeolit alam yang memiliki senyawa kimia hampir sama dengan fly ash atau silica fume. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pembuatan 3 benda uji pada variasi balok beton normal dan balok SCC yang ditambahkan kadar zeolit alam 5%, 10%, dan 15% dari berat semen yang digunakan dalam campuran. Balok memiliki tulangan utama 2-8. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian filling ability, kuat tekan beton, dan kuat lentur beton. Filling ability SCC diukur menggunakan metode pengujian slump flow test dan v-funnel. Pengujian kuat tekan beton dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kuat tekan actual dari balok. Dari pengujian kuat lentur didapatkan beban ultimit dan kurva lendutan balok. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah kadar zeolit alam yang diberikan berpengaruh terhadap kuat lentur balok. Semakin tinggi kadar zeolit alam yang diberikan sebagai pengganti sebagian semen maka semakin besar kuat lentur yang dihasilkan, akan tetapi terbatas sampai kadar 10%. Lebih dari kadar 10% maka kuat lentur akan mengalami penurunan. Jika dibandingkan dengan balok beton normal, kuat lentur balok SCC zeolit alam yang sebesar 132,74 kg/cm2 memiliki prosentase kenaikan 6,49%. Berbeda dengan lendutan yang seiiring dengan bertambahnya kadar zeolit alam maka lendutan yang dihasilkan balok juga semakin besar. Ini dikarenakan balok SCC zeolit alam dengan kadar 10% dan 15% memiliki fase plastis lebih panjang sehingga beban yang dapat ditahan menjadi lebih besar seiring dengan kemampuan balok mengalami deformasi. Prosentase kenaikan yang mencapai nilai 18,46% jika dibandingkan dengan balok beton normal menandakan balok SCC zeolit alam 10% memiliki daktilitas yang lebih besar.
English Abstract
The research was conducted through the manufacture of test specimens in 3 variations SCC without natural zeolite and natural zeolite were added levels of 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of the cement used in the mix. Beam has a main reinforcement 2-8. The performed test is filling ability test, compressive strength of concrete, and flexural strength of concrete. Filling ability of SCC was measured by the test method slump flow and V-funnel test. Concrete compressive strength testing performed to get the actual compressive strength of the beam. From flexural strength testing were obtained ultimate load and beam deflection curves. The obtained results are given of natural zeolite levels influence on the flexural strength beams. The higher levels of natural zeolites are increase the result of flexural strength, but is limited to 10% levels. More than 10% levels will decrease the bending strength. When compared with normal concrete beams the flexural strength beam SCC natural zeolite amounted to 132,74 kg/cm2 has a 6.49% percentage increase. In contrast to the deflection, continued increase in the levels of natural zeolite beam deflection produced also increased. This is because the SCC natural zeolite beams with levels 10% and 15% of natural zeolite have a plastic phase is longer so the load can be held to be more bigger in line with the ability of beam deformation. The increase percentage reaches 18.46% when compared with normal concrete beam, indicates the beam SCC with the 10% of levels natural zeolite has a greater ductility.
