Abstract
Desa Botok terletak di Kecamatan Karas, Kabupaten Magetan, merupakan salah Desa yang mayoritas petaninya menanam komoditas padi sawah. Jika dibandingkan dalam satu kecamatan, memang areal luasan tanam di desa Botok untuk komoditas padi sawah masih kalah besar dari Desa lain, tetapi di Desa ini memiliki permasalahan yang cukup serius dimana pada lima tahun terahir ini petani banyak mengeluhkan mengenai serangan hama penyakit pada tanaman padinya. Hama dan penyakit yang paling sering dijumpai dan dirasa cukup merugikkan adalah serangan wereng, penyakit potong leher serta penyakit blas disebabkan oleh jamur Pyricularia grisea pada tanaman padi. Pada saat survei pendahuluan beberapa petani menyampaikkan bahwa mereka merasa sangat dirugikkan akibat serangan hama penyakit tersebut, salah satunya adalah Bapak Sunarto yang mengalami gagal panen padi selama 4 kali berturut- turut , hal serupa juga hapir dialami oleh mayoritas petani di Desa Botok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) .Mengetahui peran penyuluh pertanian lapang dalam program pengendalian hama terpadu.(2). Mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat partisipasi pertani dalam program pengendalian hama terpadu.(3).Mengetahui hubungan antara peran penyuluh pertanian lapang dengan tingkat partisipasi petani pada program pengendalian hama penyakit terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan skala likert untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi dan peran penyuluh serta menggunakan analisis korelasi rank spareman untuk analisis hubungan nya Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1). Peran penyuluh pertanian lapang dalam program pengendalian hama terpadu secara garis besar dari mulai dari peran edukasi, deseminisasi inovasi, fasilitasi, konsultasi, advokasi, supervisi, pemantauan/ monitoring pada kegiatan Sekolah Lapang Pengendalian Hama Terpadu di Desa Botok tergolong tinggi dengan nilai persentase 81,02%. (2.) Tingkat partisipasi petani dalam kegiatan Sekolah Lapang Pengendalian Hama Terpadu di Desa Botok secara keseluruhan tinggi dengan persentase 76,79%. (3) Dari hasi perhitungan dengan SPSS 16 didapat hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,640 dengan nilai positif berarti hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang atara peran penyuluh dengan partisipasi petani dengan tingkatan korelasi tinggi.pada taraf signifikasni 0,01.
English Abstract
Botok Village is located in District Karas, Magetan Regency, is one of the villages where the majority of farmers to plant rice field commodities. If compared in one sub-district, the area of planting area in Botok village for rice paddy commodity is still bigger than other villages, but in this village has serious problem which in the last five years farmers complained about pests of disease on the paddy plant. Pests and diseases are most often encountered and considered quite disadvantageous is the attack of aphis, congenital disease and blast disease caused by Pyricularia grisea mushrooms in rice plants. During the preliminary survey some farmers showed that they felt very disadvantaged due to the pest attack, one of which was Mr. Sunarto who experienced rice harvest failure for 4 times in a row, similarly hapir experienced by the majority of farmers in Botok Village. This study aims to (1). Know the role of extension farmers field in integrated pest control program (2). Know the level of knowledge and level of farm participation in integrated pest control program (3). To know the relationship between the role of agricultural extension agents with the participation of farmers in the integrated pest management program. This study uses Likert-scale support to determine the level of participation and the role of extension and using Rank Spareman correlation analysis for the analysis of its relationship. The results of this study were (1). The role of agricultural field extension workers in integrated pest management programs outline from the role of education, innovation deseminization, facilitation, consultation, advocacy, supervision, monitoring on Integrated Pest Control Field School activities in Botok Village is high with the percentage value of 81,02%. (2.) Farmer participation rate in Integrated Pest Control Field School activities in Botok Village as a whole is high with percentage 76,79%. (3) From result of calculation with SPSS 16 got result of correlation coefficient equal to 0,640 with positive value mean this indicate that there is a positive relationship between the extension agent and the participation of farmers with a high correlation level at the 0.01 significance level.
