Tarigan, Ronstarci (2013) Pengaruh Penambahan Probiotik Selulolitik (Cellulomonas sp) dalam Pakan Terhadap Kualitas Karkas, Lemak Abdominal Dan Berat Organ Dalam Ayam Pedaging. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

The study was aimed to find out the influence of the inclusion of cellulolytic probiotics on the carcass quality, weight of internal organ and abdominal fat of broiler. The materials used were 100 Day Old Chick (DOC) strain Lohmann broilers produced by PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia. The treatment was in the form of adding Probiotics (Cellulomonas sp) with 5 treatments and 4 repetitions into the basal feed for P 0 = 0 ml/kg, P 1 = 0,4 ml/kg, P 2 = 0,8 ml/kg, P 3 = 1,2 ml/kg, and P 4 = 1,6 ml/kg feed. The chick were plotted into 20 plots, each plot contained 5 broilers of 21 days old. Each plot was equipped with eating and drinking places and electric light heater of 25 watt. The feed used consisted of broiler concentrate, corn and rice bran with probiotics. The variables observed during this study were the carcass quality, percentage of abdominal fat, and the weight of internal organ. The data obtained were then analyzed through ANOVA of Completly Rendomized Design . In case of a different influence existed during the treatment, the analysis was continued by using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The result of this study showed that the addition of cellulolytic (Cellulomonas sp) probiotics into the feed for broiler did not improve the carcass quality, percentage of abdominal fat and the internal organ weight of broilers.
