Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana dampak dari hubungan kerja informal yang ada pada home industry penghasil wadah makanan dan bagaimana hubungan kerja informal yang terjalin antara pemilik usaha dan pekerja pada home industry penghasil wadah makanan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan hubungan kerja informal yang ada pada home industry wadah makanan dan implikasi dari adanya hubungan kerja yang terjalin antar pemilik usaha dan pekerja guna membuat usaha home industry penghasil wadah makanan dapat berjalan dengan baik dan terus berkembang untuk mencapai kesejahteraan pemilik usaha dan para pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep hubungan kerja informal yang menjelaskan bahwa hubungan kerja meliputi hak dan kewajiban antara pekerja dan pengusaha, dan terjadi setelah diadakan perjanjian oleh pekerja dengan pengusaha (perjanjian kerja). Sedangkan yang dimaksud dengan perjanjian kerja menurut undang-undang nomor 13 tahun 2003 pasal 1 angka 14 adalah suatu perjanjian antara pekerja dan pengusaha atau pemberi kerja yang memuat syaratsyarat kerja tentang hak dan kewajiban kedua belah pihak. Perjanjian kerja memuat tentang hubungan kerja yang terjalin antara pemilik usaha dan pekerja meliputi hak-hak dan kewajiban-kewajiban yang dimiliki oleh kedua belah pihak yang bersangkutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan secara purposive, yaitu 4 informan utama, dan 1 informan tambahan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dampak dari hubungan kerja informal yang terjalin antara pemilik usaha dan para pekerja ada 2 yaitu dampak positif dan dampak negatif. Dampak positif berupa para pekerja dapat menentukan jam kerja dan libur kerja sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan para pekerja. Sedangkan dampak negatif berupa pemilik usaha tidak memiliki kontrol terhadap keputusan para pekerja untuk mengambil libur kerja. Sehingga jika para pekerja libur kerja secara bersama-sama maka hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi produktifitas usaha dan omset yang diterima oleh pemilik usaha. Dampak tersebut disebabkan kontrak kerja yang dibuat oleh pemilik usaha dan para pekerja hanya sebatas diskusi atau verbal. Sehingga tidak ada aturan yang jelas antara pemilik usaha dan para pekerja, karena mereka menjadikan pedoman diskusi mereka dengan pemilik usaha sebagai acuan dalam bekerja. Yang mana setiap orang memahami berbeda hubungan kerja yang ada pada home industry penghasil wadah makanan.
English Abstract
This study discusses how the impact of informal work relationships that exist in the home industry producing food containers and how informal working relationships exist between business owners and workers in the home industry producing food containers. The purpose of this study is to describe the informal working relationships that exist in food container home industries and the implications of the existence of work relationships that exist between business owners and workers to make home industry businesses that produce food containers can run well and continue to grow to achieve the welfare of business owners and worker. This study uses the concept of informal working relations which explains that the employment relationship includes rights and obligations between workers and employers, and occurs after an agreement is entered into by workers and employers (work agreements). Whereas what is meant by a work agreement according to law number 13 of 2003 article 1 number 14 is an agreement between workers and employers or employers that contains terms of work regarding the rights and obligations of both parties. The work agreement contains the working relationship that exists between the business owner and the worker, including the rights and obligations of the two parties concerned. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The selection of informants was purposive, namely 4 main informants,and 1 additional informant. The results of this study are the effects of informal working relationships that exist between business owners and workers, there are 2, namely positive and negative impacts. Positive impacts in the form of workers can determine working hours and work breaks according to the needs and abilities of the workers. While the negative pattern of business owners has no control over the decision of the workers to take work breaks. So that if workers work together, this will affect business productivity and turnover received by business owners. The impact is caused by the employment contract made by the business owner and workers only limited to discussion or verbal. So there are no clear rules between business owners and workers,because they make their discussion guidelines with business owners as a reference in their work. Which every understand is different from the workrelationships that exists in the home industry producing food containers.
