Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Labilatoriun Biomolekuler, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (MIPA) Universitas Brawijaya mulai bulan September sampai November 2006. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh paparan berulang ikan berformalin secara oral selama satu bulan terhadap perubahan fisiologi mencit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam kali ulangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa paparan berulang ikan nila berformalin selama satu bulan berpengaruh terhadap perubahan fisiologi mencit. Hasil pengamatan observasi menunjukkan gejala klinis rambut berdiri 6.25% dan gerak memutar 2.08%, kematian 4.17%, dan kerusakan organ hati 2.08%. Perlakuan juga berpengaruh terhadap nilai SGOT, SGPT, albumin, globulin, kreatinin, formaldehid dalam darah dan urin, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap berat lambung, usus, dan ginjal mencit.

English Abstract

This study was held in biomolecular Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Brawijaya University from September to November 2006. The aims of the study were to observe and know the of the repeated oral consumption of nile that contains formaldehyde for 1 month period on mice’s physiology. The method of this study was experimental using completely randomized design with six replications. The result of the study showed that the repeated oral consumption of nile that contains formaldehyde gave effect on mice’s physiology. There were some clinical symptoms on mice and lethality. It was 6.25% spiky hair, 2.08% circular movement, 4.17% lethality, and 2.08% broken in lever. The treatment also gave effect on the SGOT, SGPT, albumin, globulin, creatinine, formaldehyde in blood and urine, but it didn’t gave effect on the intestine, lever, and kidney.
