Abstract
Persediaan merupakan salah satu unsur yang penting dalam berlangsungnya proses produksi pada perusahaan, dimana perusahaan diharapkan memiliki persediaan yang cukup dalam memenuhi kebutuhan produksinya. Beberapa faktor yang mengakibatkan terhambatnya proses produksi pada perusahaan yaitu persediaan yang tidak tersedia setiap saat, keterlambatan pengiriman bahan baku dari pemasok, dan kuantitas pembelian persediaan yang tidak optimal. Proses produksi dapat berjalan dengan lancar apabila persediaan bahan baku dapat tersedia secara optimal dengan biaya persediaan yang efisien. Persediaan bahan baku yang optimal dipengaruhi oleh berapa jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang harus dipenuhi perusahaan dan berapa kali frekuensi pemesanannya. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan perencanaan dan pengendalian bahan baku yang tepat, sehingga perusahaan dapat mengantisipasi terjadinya kekurangan maupun kelebihan persediaan bahan baku, dan permintaan konsumen dapat terpenuhi. Terdapat beberapa kendala yang mengakibatkan kebutuhan bahan baku apel pada UD. Permata Agro Mandiri belum dapat dipenuhi secara optimal, kendala tersebut antara lain (1) Sering terjadi keterlambatan datangnya bahan baku apel dari pemasok yang mengakibatkan kekurangan maupun kelebihan bahan baku tersebut, (2) belum adanya pengendalian pemenuhan persediaan bahan baku apel yang optimal dengan biaya persediaan yang efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Meramalkan jumlah kebutuhan bahan baku apel untuk periode satu tahun yang akan datang yaitu tahun 2016, (2) Menganalisis kuantitas pembelian persediaan bahan baku apel yang optimal dengan biaya persediaan yang efisien. Metode penentuan lokasi pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive dengan pertimbangan bahwa UD. Permata Agro Mandiri merupakan agroindustri pertama yang memanfaatkan komoditas hortikultura, khususnya buah apel untuk diolah menjadi produk olahan pia apel di Kota Batu. Penelitian di UD. Permata Agro Mandiri ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juli 2016. Metode penentuan responden pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan memilih informan yang berkaitan dengan tujuan penelitian dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan data penelitian yang sudah ditetapkan, yaitu pemilik dan karyawan UD. Permata Agro Mandiri. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode peramalan ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) dan pengendalian persediaan mengunakan metode EOQ (Economic Order Quantity). ii Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan delapan parameter sementara peramalan ARIMA yang digunakan untuk memprediksi peramalan kebutuhan bahan baku setiap bulannya pada produk pia apel untuk satu tahun mendatang. Model parameter ARIMA (0,1,2) merupakan parameter yang terpilih dimana memiliki tingkat akurasi tertinggi berdasarkan MSE (Mean Square Error) terkecil dibandingkan dengan ketujuh parameter lainnya. Hasil dari peramalan kebutuhan bahan baku bulanan pada produk pia pel di UD. Permata Agro Mandiri untuk periode tahun 2016 mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan dengan periode tahun 2014. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah kebutuhan bahan baku yang mencapai sebesar 9371 kg, dengan rata-rata kebutuhan tiap bulannya sebesar 781 kg. Hasil dari analisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku apel menggunakan metode EOQ, diketahui bahwa pemesanan bahan baku apel yang ekonomis sebesar 297 kg, dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak tiga kali dalam satu bulan. Jumlah persediaan pengaman yang harus dimiliki oleh UD. Permata Agro Mandiri adalah sebesar 93,34 kg, dengan titik pemesanan kembali dilakukan apabila tingkat persediaan bahan baku apel digudang sebesar 151,34 kg. Jumlah persediaan maksimum yang harus dimiliki oleh UD. Permata Agro Mandiri adalah sebesar 390,34 kg, sedangkan persediaan minimal yang harus dimiliki UD. Permata Agro Mandiri sebesar 58 kg. Total biaya persediaan dengan metode EOQ sebesar Rp. 417.114 per bulan sedangkan total biaya persediaan yang dihitung perusahaan sebesar Rp. 601.428 per bulan sehingga terjadi penghematan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp. 184.314 per bulan.
English Abstract
Inventory is one of the elements that was important in the production process at the company, which the company is expected to have inventory sufficient in meet the needs of production. Several factors was resulting activities in the production process at the company are supplies that is not available at any time, delay delivery raw material from suppliers, and quantity of the purchase of inventory not optimal. Production process would go well when supplies raw materials can available optimally by the cost of inventory efficient. Inventory the raw materials optimally that influenced by how much inventory of the raw materials that have to be met by the company and how many times frequency of ordering. Therefore, needed planning and controling the raw materials right, as the company can anticipate deficiency and excess inventory of the raw materials, and consumer demand could be met There are some problems resulting in the needs of raw material apples at UD. Permata Agro Mandiri is not yet be fulfilled optimally, the problems such as: (1). The often occurring delay the arrival of raw material apples by suppliers, resulting in the shortage and excess of the raw materials, (2). The have yet to controling the meeting of the raw material apples inventory optimally by the cost of inventory efficient. The purpose of this research is: (1). The foreseeing the amount of raw material apples for a period of the next year is 2016 year, (2). The analyzing quantity the purchase of the raw material apples inventory optimally by the cost of inventory efficient. The method of determination the location is purposive with consideration that UD. Permata Agro Mandiri is the first to take advantage of the agro-industry horticultural commodities, especially apples for processing into refined products apple pie in Batu. Research at UD. Permata Agro Mandiri was conducted in May-July 2016. The method to determination of respondents in this study using purposive sampling by obtaining data from those elected or key informants in accordance with the needs of the research data that has been defined, such as the owners and employees of UD. Permata Agro Mandiri. The data used are primary data and secondary data were analyzed using ARIMA forecasting method and the method of inventory control using EOQ. The results of this study are obtained eight parameters while ARIMA forecasting is used to predict the raw material needs of each month at apple pie products for the coming year. Model parameters of ARIMA (0,1,2) is the iv parameter selected which has the highest level of accuracy based on the smallest MSE (Mean Square Error) compared with seven other parameters. The results of forecasting the month raw materials in the product mop pie at UD. Permata Agro Mandiri for the period 2016 increased compared with the period in 2014. This is shown circuitry required amount of raw materials totaled 9.371 kg, with an average month requirement of 781 kg. The results of the analysis of material inventory of apples (EOQ) showed that the raw material ordering apples economical is equal to 297 kg, with a frequency of ordering as many as three times in one month. The amount of safety stock should be owned by UD. Permata Agro Mandiri amounted to 93,34 kg, with reorder point do if the level of raw material inventory in warehouse apple of 151,34 kg. The maximum amount of inventory that should be owned by UD. Permata Agro Mandiri amounted to 390,34 kg, while the minimum inventory that must be owned by UD. Permata Agro Mandiri of 58 kg. The total cost of inventory with EOQ method Rp. 417.114 per month, while the total cost of inventory is calculated companies Rp. 601.428 per month result in the saving of inventory cost of Rp. 184.314 per month.
