Abstract

Bakteri memiliki peranan penting dalam merombak bahan organik untuk menyediakan unsur hara di perairan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan kelimpahan bakteri proteolitik dan amonifikasi, serta mengetahui hubungan antara bahan organik dengan kelimpahan bakteri proteolitik dan amonifikasi dengan menggunakan metode MPN (Most Probable Number). Penelitian ini dilakukan satu bulan setelah penebaran udang vannamei dan bandeng pada Maret–April 2018. Hasil dari uji T diketahui adanya perbedaan yang nyata antara bakteri proteolitik dan amonifikasi, maka diperoleh hasil kelimpahan bakteri proteolitik sebesar 7022x104 CFU/ml dan amonifikasi sebesar 8283x104 CFU/ml. Hubungan bahan organik dengan kelimpahan bakteri proteolitik dan amonifikasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif, artinya bahwa dengan peningkatan bahan organik diikuti dengan peningkatan kelimpahan bakteri. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air yaitu, pH berkisar 7,92–9, oksigen terlarut 3,46–4,2 mg/l, alkalinitas 180–233 mg/l, nitrat 0,849–0,850 mg/l, orthofospat 0,102 mg/l, dan bahan organik 22,75–29,20 mg/l.

English Abstract

Bacteria have an important role in remodeling organic matter to provide nutrients in the waters. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the abundance of proteolytic bacteria and ammonification, and to find out the relationship between organic matter and abundance of proteolytic bacteria and ammonification using the Most Probable Number method. This study was conducted one month after the stocking of vannamei shrimp and milkfish in March-April 2018. The results of the T test revealed that there were significant differences between proteolytic bacteria and ammonification, so that the results of the abundance of proteolytic bacteria was 7022x104 CFU/ml and ammonification was 8283x104 CFU/ml . The relationship of organic matter with abundance of proteolytic bacteria and ammonification shows a positive relationship, meaning that with an increase in organic matter followed by an increase in the abundance of bacteria. The results of water quality which included, the pH ranged from 7.92–9, dissolved oxygen was 3.46–4.2 mg/l, alkalinity was 180–233 mg/l, nitrate from 0.849– 0.850 mg/l, orthofospat 0,102 mg/l, and organic matter 22,75–29,20 mg/l.
