Abstract
Pemerintah Indonesia mulai menggalakan program diversifikasi pangan. Diversifikasi pangan merupakan program dimana masyarakat Indonesia tidak lagi bergantung pada beras sebagai bahan pangan utama. Pemerintah mengharapkan kepada masyarakat indonesia dapat mengkonsumsi tanaman pangan lainnya selain beras seperti gandum, kentang, ubi jalar, dan lainnya. Sementara tingkat produksi ubi jalar menurut Badan Pusat Statistik pada tahun 2012 hingga 2015 produksi ubi jalar mengalami penurunan pada tiap tahunnya. Tahun 2015 produksi ubi jalar hanya 2.218.992 t ha-1 Dalam rangka upaya peningkatan produksi tanamn ubi jalar diperlukan perbaikan yaitu pengaplikasian pupuk organik yaitu kompos dan pupuk hayati yang dapat mendekomposisi bahan organik dalam tanah sehingga dapat menghasilkan unsur hara yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman ubi jalar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pupuk kompos tepung tulang ikan dengan pangkasan Gliricidia dan Tithonia serta pupuk hayati terhadap sifat kimia tanah. 2) Mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pupuk kompos tepung tulang ikan dengan pangkasan Gliricidia dan Tithonia serta pupuk hayati terhadap bobot umbi dan kandungan pati tanaman ubi jalar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Kimia Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya dari bulan Januari 2016 – Juli 2016 menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 6 Perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Enam perlakuan antara lain ialah Perlakuan A (100% Tanah); Perlakuan B (25 kg ha-1 P. Hayati Trichoderma sp.); Perlakuan C (35 kg ha-1 P. Hayati Trichoderma sp.); Perlakuan D (Kompos 5 t ha-1); Perlakuan E (Kompos 5 t ha-1 + 25 kg ha-1 P. Hayati Trichoderma sp.); dan Perlakuan F (Kompos 5 t ha-1 + 35 kg ha-1 P. Hayati Trichoderma sp.). Parameter yang diamati adalah Kandungan P-total, K-total, K-dd, Ca-dd dan hasil produksi tanaman. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Genstat dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Duncan. Aplikasi pemupukan kompos tulang ikan, Tithonia dan Gliricidia dengan pupuk hayati mampu meningkatkan sifat kimia tanah, bobot umbi dan kadar pati. Perlakuan dengan kompos 5 t ha-1 dan 35 kg ha-1 pupuk hayati mampu meningkatkan P-total, K-total, K-tersedia dan Ca-dd. Perlakuan dengan aplikasi pemupukan kompos 5 t ha-1 dengan 35 kg ha-1 pupuk hayati mampu meningkatkan bobot umbi dan meningkatkan kadar pati dalam tanah.
English Abstract
The Indonesian government begins to promote food diversification program. Food diversification is a program in which the Indonesian people do not depend on rice as a staple food. The government expects the Indonesian people can consume food crops other than rice, such as wheat, potatoes and sweet potatoes. While, the level of production of sweet potato according BPS to 2012-2015, sweet potato production has decreased. In 2015 the production of sweet potato was only 2.218.992 t ha-1. In an effort to increase the production of sweet potato crops needed improvements that the application of organic fertilizers like compost and biofertilizers that can decompose organic matter in soil so it can produce a nutrient required by sweet potato plants. The purpose of this study was to 1) Learn and study the effect of composted manure with a fish bone starch and Tithonia gliricidia prunings and biological fertilizers on soil chemical properties, and 2) Learn and study the effect of composted manure with a fish bone starch and Tithonia gliricidia prunings and biological fertilizers to the tuber weight and levels of starch sweet potato crops. This study was conducted in Experimental Field and Soil Chemistry Laboratory of Faculty Agriculture of Brawijaya University from Januari 2016 to Juli 2016. Six treatments that included A treatment (100% Soil); B treatment (25 kg ha-1 Trichoderma sp. biological fertilizer ); C treatment (35 kg ha-1 Trichoderma sp. biological fertilizer); D treatment (Compost 5 t ha-1); E treatment (Compost 5 t ha-1 + 25 kg ha-1 Trichoderma sp. biological fertilizer); and F treatment (Compost 5 t ha-1 + 35 kg ha-1 Trichoderma sp. biological fertilizer) were arranged in a randomized block design with three replications. Parameters observed consisted of P-total, K-total, availability K, Ca and plant production. Data analysis consisted of analysis of variance and correlation. All statistical analysis were conducted using Genstat with Duncan test. The application of fish bone starch, Gliricidia and Tithonia compost with biological fertilizers increased soil chemical properties, tuber wight and levels of starch.. F treatment with application 5 t ha-1 compost and 35 kg ha-1 Trichoderma sp. biological fertilizer increased P-total, K-total, K-dd and Ca-dd, tuber weight and levels of starch sweet potato crops.
