Abstract
Kota Malang ialah kota pendidikan dan memiliki daya tarik parawisata yang cukup tinggi sehingga terjadi perkembangan kota yang sangat pesat. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan peningkatan suhu udara ambient dan konsentrasi CO2 .Sebagai kota pendidikan dan pariwisata, jumlah penduduk di kota Malang semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Hal ini mengakibatkan jumlah kendaraan bermotor meningkat dan menyebabkan peningkatan polusi CO2. Oleh karena itu, taman kota berperan dalam menurunkan suhu udara ambient dan konsentrasi CO2 di sekitar taman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perbedaan suhu dan konsentrasi CO2 di dua taman publik yaitu Taman Alun – Alun Merdeka dan Taman Trunojoyo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari - April 2016 di Taman Alun – Alun Merdeka dan Taman Trunojoyo, kota Malang, Jawa Timur. Secara geografis, wilayah Kota Malang berada antara 112⁰31’42” BT - 112⁰48’48” BT dan 07⁰46’48” LS - 08⁰46’42” LS. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian antara lain ialah CO2 meter Lutron GC – 2018, anemometer tipe AM-4201, Quantum Meter Tipe LQM 70-10, komputer, alat tulis, dan kamera. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi langsung secara deskriptif. Data yang diamati ialah data suhu udara ambient, konsentrasi CO2, kelembaban udara, intensitas radiasi matahari, kecepatan angin, dan vegetasi di Taman Alun – Alun Merdeka dan Taman Trunojoyo. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik “purposive sampling” berdasarkan karakteristik tertentu sesuai tujuan penelitian yaitu dengan pertimbangan kondisi ruang terbuka hijau.Pengambilan data dilakukan pada pukul 03.00 dan 13.00. Pengukuran suhu udara ambient, konsentrasi CO2, kelembaban udara, intensitas radiasi matahari, dan kecepatan angin dilakukan selama 10 minggu dengan rentang waktu tiap 1 minggu. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Pearson (SPSS 16)dan uji T. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diketahui bahwa konsentrasi CO2 pada pukul 13.00 di Taman Alun – Alun Merdeka sama dengan Taman Trunojoyo. Sedangkan konsentrasi CO2 pada pukul 03.00 di Taman Alun – Alun Merdeka lebih rendah daripada di Taman Trunojoyo. Selain itu, suhu udara ambient pada pukul 03.00 di Taman Alun-Alun Merdeka dan Taman Trunojoyo sama. Sedangkan, suhu udara ambient pada pukul 13.00 di Taman Alun-Alun Merdeka lebih tinggi daripada di Taman Trunojoyo. Korelasi antara suhu udara ambient dan konsentrasi CO2 di Taman Alun-Alun Merdeka pada pukul 03.00 memiliki nilai r sebesar 0.13 dan di Taman Trunojoyo sebesar 0.29 yang berarti bahwa hubungan antara kedua parameter ialah tegolong rendah dan berbanding lurus, dimana semakin tinggi konsentrasi CO2 maka suhu udara ambient akan semakin tinggi. Korelasi antara suhu udara ambient dan konsentrasi CO2 di Taman Alun – Alun Merdeka pada pukul 13.00 memiliki nilai r sebesar 0.52 yang berarti bahwa hubungan antara kedua parameter ialah cukup dan berbanding lurus, dimana semakin tinggi konsentrasi CO2 maka suhu udara ambient akan semakin tinggi. Korelasi antara suhu udara ambient dan konsentrasi CO2 di Taman Trunojoyo pada pukul 13.00 memiliki nilai r sebesar 0.83 yang berarti bahwa hubungan antara kedua parameter ialah sangat kuat dan berbanding lurus, dimana semakin tinggi konsentrasi CO2 maka suhu udara ambient akan semakin tinggi.
English Abstract
Malang was the city of education and had quite high tourism attraction which is resulting in rapid city development. This can cause an increased in the ambient air temperature and CO2 concentration. As a city of education and tourism, Malang populations are increasing every year. Due to the growing population, the quantity of motor vehicles raised and led to an increase of CO2 pollution. Therefore, city parks could lower ambient air temperature and CO2 concentration around the park. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences of temperature and CO2 concentration between two city parks named Merdeka Square Park and Trunojoyo Park. This research was conducted in February - April 2016 in Merdeka Square Park and Trunojoyo Park, Malang, East Java. Geographically, the city of Malang are among 112⁰31’42” East Longitude -112⁰48’48” East Longitude and 07⁰46’48” South Latitude - 08⁰46’42” South Latitude. The tools which was used in this research were CO2 meter Lutron GC - 2018, Anemometer Type AM-4201, Quantum Meter Type LQM 70-10, computer, stationery, and camera. This research used descriptive direct observation method. The data were ambient air temperature, CO2 concentration, air humidity, intensity of solar radiation, wind speed, and vegetation in the Merdeka Square Park and Trunojoyo Park. This research used "purposive sampling" technique that based on certain characteristics according to the research purposeby considering the condition of green spaces. Data were collected at 3:00 AM and 13:00 PM. Measurements of ambient air temperature, CO2 concentration, air humidity, intensity of solar radiation, and wind speed were done every 1 week for 10 weeks. The data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation (SPSS 16) and t Test. The concentration of CO2 at 13.00 PM in Merdeka Square Park was and Trunojoyo Park was same. While the concentration of CO2 at 03.00 AM in Merdeka Square Park was lower than in Trunojoyo Park. In addition, the ambient air temperature at 03.00 AM in Merdeka Square Park and Trunojoyo Park was same. The ambient air temperature at 13.00 PM in Merdeka Square Park was higher than in Trunojoyo Park. The correlation between ambient air temperature and CO2 concentration in Merdeka Square Park at 03:00 AM had r value of 0.13 and in Trunojoyo Park had r value of 0.29, which meant that the relation between the two parameters was low and directly proportional, where if CO2 concentration was high, then the ambient air temperature would be low. The correlation between ambient air temperature and CO2 concentration in Merdeka Square Park at 13:00 PM had r value of 0.52 which meant that the relation between two parameters was moderate and directly proportional, where if CO2 concentration was high, then the ambient air temperature also would be high. The correlation between ambient air temperature and CO2 concentration in Trunojoyo Park at 13:00 PM had r value of 0.83 which meant that the relation between two parameters was very strong and directly proportional, where if CO2 concentration was high, then the ambient air temperature also would be high.
