Abstract
Kunyit merupakan salah satu tanaman obat yang saat ini banyak dicari oleh masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan saat ini masyarakat memiliki gaya hidup dengan kecenderungan pada produk alami ataupun produk yang mengarah kembali ke alam, sehingga menjadi peluang bagus untuk pengembangan tanaman obat dan berpeluang bagus bagi industri farmasi, makanan, minuman serta kosmetik yang berbahan dasar bahan alami. Hal ini menjadikan pengembangan tanaman kunyit menjanjikan prospek yang sangat cerah yaitu mendukung usaha-usaha peningkatan pendapatan petani, perluasan kesempatan kerja dan usahatani ke arah agribisnis, pemenuhan gizi bagi masyarakat dan peningkatan ekspor non migas. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah : 1) Untuk menganalisis apa saja faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi dan pendapatan usahatani kunyit di Desa Pelem, Kecamatan Bungkal, Kabupaten Ponorogo, 2) Untuk mesdeskripsikan usahatani kunyit di Desa Pelem, Kecamatan Bungkal, Kabupaten Ponorogo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pelem, Kecamatan Bungkal, Kabupaten Ponorogo yang ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) setelah melihat potensi serta keunggulan kunyit, penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April-Mei 2016 dengan jumlah sampel 31 petani dari jumlah keseluruhan 104 petani, metode penentuan responden dilakukan secara acak lalu dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 15%, penentuan tingkat kesalahan tersebut telah dilakukannya uji normalitas dan didapatkan hasil terdistribusi normal. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis usahatani dan analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi dan pendapatan petani. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan kondisi daerah penelitian sedangkan untuk analisis usahatani terdiri dari analisis biaya, penerimaan, dan pendapatan. Sedangkan analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi dan pendapatan petani menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari analisis usahatani didapatkan rata-rata petani dalam membudidayakan kunyit memerlukan biaya tetap rata-rata sebesar Rp 537.227,00/ha dalam satu kali musim tanam yang digunakan untuk pembayaran pajak lahan sebesar Rp 141.120,00/ha dan biaya penyusutan Rp 396.107,00/ha dalam satu musim tanam, serta memerlukan biaya variabel sebesar Rp 8.964.533,00/ha dengan rincian keperluan biaya benih Rp 1.256.667,00/ha, biaya pupuk Rp 1.294.533,00/ha dan biaya tenaga kerja Rp 6.413.333,00/ha dalam satu kali musim tanam. Sehingga total biaya yang dikeluarkan petani kunyit di Desa Pelem, Kecamatan Bungkal, Kabupaten Ponorogo Rp 9.501.760,00/ha dalam satu kali musim tanam. Sedangkan pendapatan rata-rata petani kunyit di Desa Pelem Kecamatan Bungkal Kabupaten Ponorogo adalah sebesar Rp 28.456.013,00/ha dalam satu kali musim panen. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier berganda, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap produksi usahatani kunyit di Desa Pelem, Kecamatan Bungkal, Kabupaten Ponorogo adalah luas lahan dan jumlah tenaga kerja, Sedangkan umur Petani, pendidikan dan pengalaman usahatani tidak berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap produksi usahatani kunyit.
English Abstract
Turmeric is one of the medicinal plants that are currently much sought by the public. This is due to the current community lifestyle with the trend on natural products or products that lead back to nature, so be a good chance for the development of medicinal plants, traditional medicine and great opportunity for the pharmaceutical industry, food, drinks and cosmetics made from natural ingredients. It makes the development of the promising prospect of turmeric plant very bright, supports the efforts to increase farmers income, employment opportunities and the expansion of agribusiness farming, the fulfillment of nutrition for the community and increase in exports of non oil and gas. The purpose of the research was 1) To analyze the factors affecting production and income of turmeric farming in the Pelem Village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency, 2) To description of turmeric farming in the Pelem Village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency. This research was conducted in Pelem village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency which specified intentionally (purposive) after seeing the potential and advantages of turmeric, this research was conducted in April-May 2016 with a total sample 31 farmers from the whole number of 104 farmers, the determination of respondents was conducted randomly and then calculated using slovin sampling tecnique with 15% error rate. Data analysis method used analysis of farming and analysis the factors affecting production and income of farmers. A description analysis was used to describe the condition of the research area and for the analysis of farming consists of the analysis of costs, revenues, and income. While the analysis of the factors affecting production and the income of farmers using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis of farming is obtained, the average farmers into cultivating turmeric requires the average fixed cost is Rp 537.227,00/ha in one growing season that is used for the payment of land tax Rp 141.120,00/ha and the cost of depreciation Rp 396.107,00/ha in a one growing season, and need the variable cost is Rp 8.964.533,00/ha, that is used for the cost of seed Rp 1.256.667,00/ha, cost of fertilizer Rp 1.294.533,00/ha and labor costs Rp 6.413.333,00/ha in a one growing season. So the total cost of turmeric farmers in the Pelem village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency is Rp 9.501.760,00/ha in one growing season. While the average income of the farmers in the Pelem village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency is Rp 28.456.013,00/ha in one harvest season. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, factors that affect significantly the production of turmeric farming in the Pelem Village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency are land lease and labor, while age of farmer, education and experience farming do not affect significantly the production of turmeric farming.
