Savitri, NadiaUlfa (2015) Pengaruh Umur Persemaian Dan Pupuk Kandang Kambing Pada Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Mentimun (Cucumis Sativus L.). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

Pengamatan terdiri atas parameter pertumbuhan (Umur 8, 16, 24, 32 HST) yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), luas daun (cm2), diameter batang (cm), jumlah bunga pertanaman dan fruitset. Pengamatan panen meliputi panjang buah per tanaman (cm), diameter buah per tanaman (cm), bobot buah per tanaman (g), bobot total buah per tanaman (g), jumlah buah per tanaman (buah) dan hasil panen per hektar (ton ha-1) Analisis pertumbuhan tanaman meliputi indeks luas daun (ILD).

English Abstract

Cucumber needs transplant before planted on land directly in order to obtain a normal seedling, better, superior and uniform of seed. An effort to increase the production of cucumber plants in addition to the right transplant age is sufficient for nutrient necessary in order to achieve maximum results. It’s necessary to use source of nitrogen fertilizers that are environmentally friendly such as the goat manure. The purpose of this research was to study the effect of transplant age and dose of goat manure on the growth and yield of cucumber as well as getting the nursery age and right dose of goat manure for the growth and yield of cucumber. The hypothesis of the research is the treatment of nursery age who are not too long and high doses of manure that can enhance the growth and yield of cucumber. The experiment was conducted in April-May 2015, at the land experimental of Institute for Agricultural Technology (BPTP), Karangploso Malang. The experimental design used split plot design (RPT). Dose goat manure (M) is placed on the main plot consists of two levels: (M1) of 9.6 ton ha-1, (M2) 19.2 ton ha-1. Transplant age (P) placed on the subplot consisted of 4 levels: (P0) Without transplant, (P1) 5 days transplant, (P2) 10 days transplant, (P3) 15 days transplant. Observations consists of the growth parameters (age 8, 16, 24, 32 HST) are plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), leaf area (cm2), stem diameter (cm), number of flower (pieces) and fruitset. Harvest observations are the length fruit of plant (cm), diameter of fruit (cm), weight of fruit (g), the total weight of fruits (g), the number of fruits and the yields (tonnes ha-1). Analysis of plant growth include leaf area index (LAI). Environmental monitoring includes temperature and precipitation. Data obtained from observations were analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) at 5%. If there is an interaction or real effect, then continued with Honestly Significant Difference Test (HSD) at the level of p = 0.05. In observation of the growth and yield of cucumber plants showed no apparent interaction between doses of goat manure and nursery age. Goat manure dose was not significant effect, but the treatment of transplant age shows real effect on the growth component which the variable are plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves and number of flower. While the yield components include total plant weight, number of fruits per plant and harvest per hectare. Results of the ratio between revenues and costs shows the treatment of transplant age in 5 days with 9,6 tonnes ha-1 doze of goat manure gave R/C ratio at 4,1. This value is the highest among the other treatments that can be to the most flexible and profitable.
