Abstract
Gulma perairan Eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) dapat ditemukan tumbuh di Waduk Selorejo, Kecamatan Ngantang. Tumbuhan ini menyebabkan beragam dampak kerugian secara ekologi, ekonomi dan sosial bagi masyarakat sekitar Waduk Selorejo, khususnya yang berada di Desa Kaumrejo. Sebagai perusahaan pengelolah waduk, Perum. Jasa Tirta I melakukan kegiatan penanggulangan untuk mengontrol populasi eceng gondok di Waduk Selorejo dengan memindahkan tumbuhan ini dari permukaan air ke tepi waduk. Namun dari beberapa penanggulangan, pemanfaatan eceng gondok yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat merupakan cara yang paling efektif dan efisien. Lokasi penelitian ditetapkan di Desa Kaumrejo, Kecamatan Ngantang, Kabupaten Malang dan Kantor Sub Divisi Jasa ASA II yang berada di Jl. Bendungan Selorejo, Kecamatan Ngantang. Metode penggumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga cara yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penetapan responden dengan memanfaatkan informan kunci (key informan) dan keluarga pemanfaat eceng gondok sebagai narasumber. Berdasarkan data potensi pemanfaatan eceng gondok secara ekologi, penelitian ini menggunakan 2 orang informan kunci yang terdiri dari seorang otoritas lingkungan dan seorang penggiat (tokoh) lingkungan di Desa Kaumrejo. Selanjutnya untuk memperoleh data potensi pemanfaatan eceng gondok secara ekonomi, penelitian ini menggunakan 2 keluarga pemanfaat eceng gondok sebagai narasumber. Begitu juga dalam memperoleh data potensi pemanfaatan eceng gondok secara sosial, pada penelitian ini menggunakan 2 keluarga pemanfaat eceng gondok yang sama sebagai narasumber. Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, content analysis dan analisis kontribusi pendapatan rumah tangga. Pemanfaatan eceng gondok di Desa Kaumrejo, pertama kali dilakukan pada program community empowerment. Populasi eceng gondok di Waduk Selorejo telah melebihi ambang batas normal pertumbuhan sebesar 20%. Selain itu tumbuhan ini juga mampu menghasilkan biomassa sebesar 18 ton/bulan. Eceng gondok di Waduk Selorejo berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai tumbuhan penjernih air dan habitat tumbuh bagi biota perairan air tawar. Pemanfaatan eceng gondok merupakan kegiatan yang mengguntungkan secara ekonomi. Usaha pemanfaatan eceng gondok yang dilakukan masyarakat Desa Kaumrejo termasuk dalam jenis usaha mikro. Kontribusi pendapatan yang diperoleh narasumber I dari kegiatan pemanfaatan eceng gondok adalah sebesar 6,07%/tahun dan masuk dalam kategori kurang. Sedangkan narasumber II memperoleh kontribusi sebesar 19,47%/tahun dan masuk dalam kategori sedang. Pemanfaatan eceng gondok oleh masyarakat berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga dan laju pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. ii Kondisi kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Kaumrejo tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan 84,38% masyarakatnya masuk dalam kelas menengah hingga menengah ke atas. Tingkat pengangguran di Desa Kaumrejo tergolong rendah, yakni sebesar 29,26% dari 1.576 jiwa penduduk. Pemanfaatan eceng gondok oleh masyarakat berpotensi dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), kemampuan berdaya masyarakat dan menurunkan angka pengangguran.
English Abstract
Eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) weeds waters can be found growing in Selorejo Reservoir, Subdistrict Ngantang. This plant cause various the impact of loss in ecology, economic and social for the people around selorejo reservoir, especially for those who live in the Kaumrejo Village. As a mainteners company, Perum. Jasa Tirta I do reduction activities to control population eceng gondok in Selorejo Reservoir by moving this plant from water to the edge of reservoir. But of some several reduction, the use of eceng gondok that doing by society be the most effective and efficient way. Research locations set in the Kaumrejo Village, Subdistrict Ngantang, Malang District and Sub Services Division office ASA II which is located on Jl. Bendungan Selorejo, Subdistrict Ngantang. Data collection method to this research is done through three ways that is interview, observation and study documentation. This study using methods the determination of respondents by using key informants and beneficiaries eceng gondoks family speakers. Based on the data from the potential benefits of the eceng gondok in ecology, this study using two key informants consisting of a authority environment and a environment figure in the Kaumrejo Village. Subsequently to obtain data the potential benefits of the eceng gondok in terms of economy, this research uses 2 family beneficiaries eceng gondok as speakers. So does in obtain data the potential benefits of the eceng gondok socially, in this research uses 2 family beneficiaries eceng gondok which is the same as the source of information. The method of analysis data in this study using descriptive analysis, content analysis and contribution of household income analysis. The utilization of eceng gondok in the Kaumrejo Village, was first performed at the community empowerment program. Eceng gondok population in Selorejo Reservoirs have exceeded the threshold of normal growth of 20%. In addition, this plant is also capable of producing biomass of 18 tons/month. Eceng gondok in Reservoir Selorejo potentially used as water purification plants and grow habitats quiet waters of freshwater. The utilization of eceng gondok is an activity that is economically profitable. Business utilization of eceng gondok which is done in the Kaumrejo Village community including types of micro enterprises. Contribution income earned speaker I of activities utilizing eceng gondokis of 6.07% per year and belongs to the category less. While interviewees II obtain contributions of 19,47% per year and entered in the category of being. The utilization of eceng gondok community by potentially increasing household income and the rate of economic growth of the region. Kaumrejo Village community welfare conditions are categorized as very good. This is shown by the community enter into 84,38% medium-to mediumiv sized class upwards. The unemployment rate in the village Kaumrejo belongs to low, 29,26% of 1,644 inhabitants population. The utilization of eceng gondok is potentially society in improving the quality of human resources (HR), the ability of the powerless in society and lower unemployment.
