Abstract
Kota Batu mempunyai keadaan iklim dan topografi yang cocok untuk budidaya tanaman brokoli, khususnya di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji. Dalam kegiatan usahatani brokoli petani dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan mengatur kegiatan usahataninya secara efisien supaya produksi usahataninya menguntungkan. Namun keterbatasan modal yang dimiliki petani menjadi penghambat dalam kegiatan usahatani brokoli. Oleh karena itu, peneliti bermaksud untuk melakukan penelitian tentang analisis efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi pada usahatani brokoli di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) mengidentifikasi biaya produksi, pendapatan dan kelayakan usahatani brokoli di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu, (2) menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi terhadap produksi brokoli di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu, dan (3) menganalisis efisiensi secara alokatif faktor-faktor produksi yang digunakan dalam usahatani brokoli di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Untuk analisis kuantitatif menggunakan analisis biaya, fungsi produksi cobb douglas dalam bentuk linier berganda, dan analisis efisiensi alokatif menggunakan NPMx/Px = 1, sedangkan untuk analisis kualitatif menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2015, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : (1) Usahatani brokoli di daerah penelitian menguntungkan dan layak untuk dikembangkan, karena besarnya nilai R/C ratio lebih dari satu. (2) Faktor produksi yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap usahatani brokoli di daerah penelitian adalah faktor produksi benih dan pupuk kandang. Faktor produksi benih berpengaruh signifikan secara positif, sedangkan faktor pupuk kandang berpengaruh signifikan secara negatif. (3) Hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi dalam usahatani brokoli diperoleh variabel benih belum efisien secara alokatif sehingga dalam penggunaannya perlu ditambahkan, sedangkan variabel pupuk kandang tidak efisien secara alokatif sehingga dalam penggunaannya perlu dikurangi. Saran untuk penelitian ini adalah (1) hendaknya petani menyesuaikan penggunaan input dengan biaya yang ada, sehingga dapat meminimalisir pengeluaran biaya. (2) Petani hendaknya mengoptimalkan penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi untuk menghasilkan produksi secara maksimal dan menguntungkan. (3) Untuk penelitian selanjutnya yang sejenis, hendaknya peneliti menambahkan faktor sosial ekonomi untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor tersebut terhadap usahatani brokoli.
English Abstract
Batu has climatic condition and topography that suitable for the cultivation of broccoli, especially in Tulungrejo, Bumiaji. In farming activities, broccoli farmers are required to have the ability to organize their farming activities efficiently, so their farming production can be profitable. However, the limited capital owned by farmers becomes a barrier in broccoli farming activities. Therefore, the researcher intended to conduct research about the analysis of the allocative efficiency factors of production in broccoli farming at Tulungrejo, Bumiaji, Batu. This study was aimed to : (1) identify the cost of production, income and eligibility of broccoli farming in Tulungrejo, Bumiaji, Batu, (2) analyze the effect of production factors toward the production of broccoli in Tulungrejo, Bumiaji, Batu, and (3) analyze the allocative efficiency of production factors used in the broccoli farming at Tulungrejo, Bumiaji, Batu. The analytical method used was the qualitative and quantitative analysis. For quantitative analysis, it used cost analysis, cobb douglas production function in the form of linear and allocative efficiency analysis using NPMx/Px = 1, while qualitative analysis using descriptive analysis. Based on research finding that was conducted in March-May 2015, the results are presented as follows : (1) broccoli farming in the study areas were profitable and feasible to be developed, due to the value of R/C ratio is more than one. (2) Production factors that significantly influence toward broccoli farming in the study area was a factor of production of seed and manure. Seed production factor had positive significant effect, whereas the manure factor had negative significant effect. (3) The results of the analysis of the allocative efficiency of the use of production factors in farming shown that seed variable had not been efficient allocatively, so its use should be added, while the manure variable was inefficient allocatively so that its use needs to be reduced. Suggestions for this study were (1) the farmers should adjust the use of input with the existing cost, so it can minimize expenses. (2) Farmers should optimize the use of production factors to produce optimally and profitable production. (3) To further similar studies, researchers should add socio-economic factors to determine the influence of these factors on the farming of broccoli.
