Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi di lahan tebu Karangduren adalah rendahnyaketersediaan P di dalam tanah serta pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tebu. Hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan rendahnya produksi tebu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1.Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian blotong, abu ketel dan kompos terhadap pH, kandungan C-organik dan P-tersedia dalam tanah, 2.Mempelajari pengaruh pemberian blotong, abu ketel dan kompos terhadap pertumbuhan, berat kering tanaman dan serapan-P tebu, 3.Mencari hubungan antara C-organik, pH, P-Tersedia, berat kering, serapan P dan Pertumbuhan Tebu. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan PG Kebon Agung yang berada di desa Karangduren Kabupaten Malang pada November 2014 hingga April 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok sederhana dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari Kontrol (P0); perlakuan abu ketel 60 t ha-1 (P1); pada perlakuan kompos 3 t ha-1(P2); perlakuan blotong 60 t ha-1 (P3); perlakuan abu ketel 30 t ha-1 dan blotong 30 t ha-1 (P4); perlakuan abu ketel 15 t ha-1 dan blotong 45 t ha-1 (P5); perlakuan abu ketel 30 t ha-1 dan blotong 30 t ha-1 ditambah pupuk hayati 80 L ha-1 (P6). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian abu ketel, blotong dan kompos dapat memperbaiki sifat kimia tanah dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan tebu hingga 4 BST (Bulan Setelah Tanam). Hasil terbaik dalam memperbaiki sifat kimia tanah dan pertumbuhan tebu secara menyeluruh terjadi pada perlakuan abu ketel60 t ha-1 (P1). Pemberian abu ketel60 t ha-1 mampu meningkatkan pH tanah sebesar 6,12%, meningkatkan kandungan C-Organik sebesar 46,03% dan kandungan P-tersedia sebesar 328,39 % dibandingkan keadaan tanah awal sebelum diberi perlakuan.Pemberian abu ketel60 t ha-1 (P1) juga mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tebu seperti tinggi tebu, panjang batang, jumlah batang, jumlah daun, jumlah klorofil, berat kering tebu dan serapan P tebu.Terdapat pengaruh positif antara kandungan C-Organik dan P-Tersedia dalam tanah terhadap tinggi batang, jumlah daun dan jumlah batang. English Abstract

Actual problems in the Karangduren sugarcane soil was the low availability of soil-P and its effects on growth of sugarcane. This fact also leads to the lower of cane production. The goal of this study is to: (1) determine the effects of filter-cake, sugarcane boiler ash and compost on soil pH, soil C-organic and availability of soil-P, (2) determine effects of filter-cake, sugarcane boiler ash and compost on sugarcane growth, biomass dry weight and P-uptake of sugarcane, (3) analyze relationship between soil pH, soil-P availability, cane dry weight, P-uptake and growth of sugarcane. Research wasconducted at the Kebon Agung Sugar Mill in Karangduren village, Malang, during November 2014 to April 2015. This study used a simple randomized block design with seven treatments and four replications. The experimental treatment included the Control (P0); treatment of sugarcane boiler-ash 60 ton.ha-1 (P1); compost 3 ton.ha-1 (P2); filter-cake 60 ton.ha-1 (P3); sugarcane boiler ash 30 ton.ha-1 and filter cake 30 ton.ha-1 (P4); sugarcane boiler ash 15 ton.ha-1 and filter-cake 45 ton.ha-1 (P5); sugarcane boiler ash 30 ton.ha-1 and filter-cake 30 ton.ha-1 plus bio-fertilizers 80 L.ha-1 (P6). Results of study showed that application of sugarcane boiler ash, filter cake and compost improved chemical characteristics of soil, and increase growth of sugarcane upto 4 MAP (months after planting). The best treatment in improving soil chemical characteristics and growth of sugarcane is application of sugarcane boiler ash 60 ton.ha-1 (P1). Application of sugarcane boiler ash 60 ton.ha-1 was able to increase soil pH by 6.12%, increasing the content of soil C-Organic by 46.03 % and soil-P availability by 328.39 % compared to soil before treatment. Application of sugarcane boiler ash 60 ton.ha-1 (P1) was also able to improve growth of sugarcane measured by the cane height, cane length, number of shoots, number of leaves, content of chlorophyll, cane dry weight and P-uptake of sugarcane. There was a positive effects of the content of soil organic carbon and available P-soil on the sugarcane stem height, number of leaves and number of shoots. There was an effect of C-Organic, pH, P-available on the P-uptake and the dry weight of sugarcane
