Abstract

Kebun bibit rakyat merupakan kebun persemaian yang membudidaykan tanaman hutan, dikelolah oleh kelompok tani yang didanai oleh pemerintah. tanaman Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria), Jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba), dan Gmelina (Gmelina arborea) merupakan bibit yang diminati oleh kelompok KBR tahun 2013 untuk dibudidayakan. Bibit berkualitas dapat dihasilkan dari media tanam yang juga berkualitas. Pemerintah melalui Peraturan Menteri Kehutanan P.17/Menhut-II/2012 tentang pedoman teknis kebun bibit rakyatpesemaian KBR mencantumkan mengenai media tanam yang digunakan berupa campuran tanah/sabut kelapa/gambut/sekam, pasir dan pupuk organik (pupuk kandang/kompos/bokasi) dan/atau pupuk anorganik (N, P, K dll) yang diisikan ke dalam polybag/kantong/wadah lainnya. Media tanam juga sebagai tempat untuk mewadahi berbagai proses kegiatan tanaman, baik kegiatan kimia, fisik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1)Mengevaluasi keragaman media tanam terhadap karagaman pertumbuhan bibit pertumbuhan bibit tanaman sengon, gmelinadan jabon(2) Menganalisis hubungan sifat fisik tanah (bobot isi, berat jenis, porositas, tanah, ketahanan penetrasi akar dan kemampuan penyedia air) terhadap pertumbuhan bibit sengon, gmelinadan jabon.(3)Menganalisis ketersediaan unsur hara (N, P, K dan C-organik) terhadap pertumbuhan bibit sengon, gmelinadan jabon. Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja BPDAS Brantas yang meliputi kabupaten yaitu Malang, Blitar, kediri, Tulungagung, Jombang dan Trenggalek. dilaksanakan bulan Desember 2013 sampai dengan bulan Februari 2014. Pengolahan data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dilanjutkan standar deviasi untuk mengetahui keseragaman bibit Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada media tanam KBR. Pertumbuhan bibit sengon terbaik terdapat pada lokasi 1 di desa Kanigoro, media tanam yang memberikan pertumbuhan bibit yang relatif seragam berupa campuran topsoil, pupuk kandang, dan lumpur, dengan karakteristik tekstur lempung berdebu, penetrasi akar tanah (2,67 Mpa), air tersedia (19,22%) porositas (55,95%), BI (1,02 g/cm3), pH 7, N-total dan C-organik (0,09) dan (0,10%), P dan K tanah (26 ppm) dan (0,3 me/100g), dan nilai C/N rasio (0,97). Pertumbuhan bibit jabon terbaik terdapat pada lokasi 5 di desa Ngepoh dengan media tanam topsoil dan kompos, dengan karakteristik tekstur lempung berdebu, ait tersedia (22,80%), porositas (58,14%), BI (0,77 g/cm3), penetrasi (1,33 Mpa), pH (7,5), Nitrogen (0,12%), P dan K tanah (65,8 ppm) dan (2,12 me/100g), C-organik (1,14%), dan nilai C/N rasio (9,8). Pertumbuhan bibit gmelina terdapat pada lokasi 3 di desa Bandungrejo, dengan media tanam topsoil, pupuk kandang, dan kompos, dengan tekstur lempung berdebu, penetrasi (0,80 Mpa), BI (1,18 g/cm3), porositas (63,14%), dan ketersediaan air yang tinggi (17,78%), pH (7,2), Nitrogen (0,05%), P tanah (110ppm), K tanah (0,12 me/100g), C-organik (0,40%), dan nilai c/n rasio (7,15).

English Abstract

Kebun bibir rakyat is a garden nursery forest plants, which is managed by farmer groups and funded by the goverment. There were some kind of seed that used in KBR. The seed are sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria), Jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba), and Gmelina (Gmelina arborea) is a seed that is in demand by KBR group in 2013. Quality of the seeds can be produceed from medium which have qualified. In the process, the goverment through peraturan pemerintah 2012. Which told about technical of KBR that planting growth are used the mix of soil/coconutpeat/organic matter/sekam,sand dan organic fertilizer andn/or anorganic fertilizer which filled in polybag. Planting growth is a place for the activity of plant such as phisic, chemistry and biology. The purpose of this research are (1) to evaluate various planting rowth on various seeds growth sengon jabon gmelina (2) to analize the relation of physic properties with the growt of seeds (3) to analize the availibillity of chemical properties with the grorwht of the seeds. This research have coducted in BPDAS Brantas works area that included Malang, Blitar, Kediri, Tulungagung, Jombang and Treggalek. Survey, interview, evaluating, taking sample for planting growth and morfology of the seeds are done in December 2013 until Februari 2014. processing data was performed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative, standard deviation continued to determine the uniformity of seed. The results showed the growing media KBR. The best seedling growth sengon is at location 1 in the village Kanigoro, planting medium that provides a relatively uniform seedling growth in the form of a mixture of topsoil, manure and mud, with dusty loam texture characteristics, root penetration of the soil (2.67 MPa), available water (19.22%) porosity (55.95%), BI (1.02g/cm3), pH 7, total-N and C-organic (0.09) and (0.10%), P and K soil (26 ppm) and (0.3 me/100g), and the value of C / N ratio (0.97). The best growth Jabon seeds is found in 5 locations in the village Ngepoh with topsoil and compost planting medium, the dusty loam texture characteristics, available water (22.80%), porosity (58.14%), BI (0.77g/cm3) , penetration (1.33 MPa), pH (7.5), nitrogen (0.12%), P and K soil (65.8 ppm) and (2.12 me /100g), C-organic (1, 14%), and the value of C/N ratio (9.8). Gmelina seed growth is found in 3 locations in the village Bandungrejo, with planting medium topsoil, manure, and compost, the dusty loam texture, penetration (0.80MPa), BI (1.18g/cm3), porosity (63.14%), and high water availability (17.78%), pH (7.2), nitrogen (0.05%), P soil (110ppm), K soil (0.12me/100g), C-organic (0.40%), and the value of c / n ratio (7.15)
