Swastini, DesakPutuTantri (2017) Perbedaan Tingkat Kebocoran Mikro Antara Glass Ionomer Cement Modifikasi Resin Nano Dan Tipe Konvensional. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
One of the material restoration that have a good feature of adhesivity to teeth structure is glass ionomer cement (GIC). One of the problems often found in various materials restoratif is microleakage that can influence durability of the restoration. The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal microleakage from restoration nanofilled GIC and conventional GIC. This study uses scanning electron micrograph (SEM) to find and calculate microleakage from two sample group where each group consisting of 9 maxillary first premolar. First group was restored with conventional GIC and the second group was restored with nanofilled GIC. Quantitative data was test with independent t – test with 95% confidence level (α = 0,05). Statistical test results of independent t – test showed a significant difference in both groups (p = 0,000). The conclusion from this research is average rate of microleakage conventional GIC is 47,13 μm and nano resin modified GIC is 10,31 μm so that the mikroleakage rate on nano resin modified gla;;ss ionomer cement lower than the level of microleakage in conventional glass ionomer.
