Abstract

Ulkus Lambung Adalah Area Ekskoriasi Pada Lambung Yang Disebabkan Oleh Rusaknya Mekanisme Pertahanan Mukosa Terhadap Faktor-Faktor Predominan. Upaya Yang Dapat Dilakukan Untuk Menurunkan Kejadian Ulkus Lambung Adalah Tindakan Pencegahan Dengan Menggunakan Ekstrak Etanol Seledri (Apium Graveolens L). Seledri Memiliki Kandungan Senyawa Fenolik, Salah Satunya Adalah Apigenin Yang Berfungsi Sebagai Antioksidan. Efek Antioksidan Memiliki Potensi Sebagai Agen Proteksi Dalam Melawan Kerusakan Sel Yang Disebabkan Oleh Aktivasi Radikal Bebas Berlebih (Ros). Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Dalam Mencegah Terjadinya Ulkus Lambung Melalui Penurunan Ukuran Panjang Lesi Ulkus Lambung. Penelitian Menggunakan Metode Randomized Posttest Only Controlled Group Design Yang Dilakukan Terhadap Tikus Putih Galur Wistar. Hewan Coba Dibagi Menjadi 5 Kelompok Yaitu Kelompok Sehat, Luka Normal Dengan Induksi Indometachin, Pemberian Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Secara Oral Dengan Dosis 200mg/Kgbb, 300mg/Kgbb, Dan 400mg/Kgbb. Pengamatan Dilakukan Pada Panjang Lesi Ulkus Lambung. Panjang Lesi Ulkus Diukur Menggunakan Jangka Sorong Dan Dianalisa Statistik Dengan Uji One Way Anova. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Sebesar 300mg/Kgbb Merupakan Dosis Terbaik Dalam Mencegah Terbentuknya Ulkus Lambung Melalui Penurunan Ukuran Panjang Ulkus Lambung. Berdasarkan Hasil Tersebut, Saran Peneliti Adalah Membandingkan Berbagai Parameter Lain Mengenai Pengaruh Ekstrak Etanol Seledri Terhadap Pencegahan Ulkus Lambung.

English Abstract

Gastric Ulcer Is An Excoriation Area Of The Stomach Caused By The Destruction Of Mucosal Defense Againsts The Predominant Factors. One Of The Effort That Should Be Made To Reduce The Incidence Of Gastric Ulcer Is A Precautionary Measure To Use Ethanol Extract Of Celery (Apium Graveolens L). Celery Contains Phenolic Compounds, Such As Apigenin Which Acts As Antioxidant. Antioxidant Has Potential As An Agent Of Gastric Mucosal Protection Against Cell Damage Caused By Excessive Activation Of Free Radical (Ros). This Study Aimed To Determine The Effect Of Celery Ethanol Extract In Preventing Gastric Ulcer Through A Reduction Of Ulcer Lesion Length. Research Method Posttest Only Randomized Controlled Group Design Conducted On Wistar Strain Rats. Experimental Animals Were Divided Into 5 Groups: Healthy, Normal Wound With Induction Indometachin, Celery Ethanol Extract Administered Orally At A Dose Of 200mg / Kg, 300mg / Kg And 400mg / Kg. Observations Were Made On The Length Of Gastric Ulcer Lesions. The Length Of Gastric Ulcer Was Measured Using Vernier Caliper And Statistically Analyzed By One Way Anova Test. The Result Showed That The Ethanol Extract Of Celery At 300mg/Kgbb Was The Best Dose In Preventing The Formation Of Gastric Ulcer By Decreasing The Length Of Gastric Ulcer. Based On These Results, The Researcher Suggests To Compare Other Various Parameters Regarding The Effect Of Celery Ethanol Extract For The Prevention Of Gastric Ulcer.
