Abstract
Kegiatan Bermain Paper Toys memainkan peranan penting dalam keseimbangan otak kiri dan otak kanan sehingga dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak dengan menggunakan fungsi dari otak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan bermain Paper Toys kelompok TK A terhadap perkembangan kognitif pada anak usia preschool. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian Quasy Experiment dengan pendekatan control group posttest desain only. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap anak usia preschool di TK Negeri Pembina Kabupaten Kediri di Pare. Sampel dari penelitian adalah 22 responden yang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Variabel independen dalam penelitian adalah kegiatan bermain Paper Toys dan variabel dependen adalah perkembangan kognitif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi. Sebelum ditunjukkan dengan hasil penelitian, penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 x/seminggu dalam 2 minggu berturut-turut. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Mann-Whitney, hasil penelitian pada kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan hasil yang signifikan (p= 0,015), sedangkan pada Uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai (p= 0,05). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kegiatan bermain Paper Toys terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia preschool pada kelompok perlakuan di TK Negeri Pembina Kabupaten Kediri di Pare dengan ditunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil perkembangan kognitif diantara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Dianjurkan kepada perawat pediatric, guru dan orangtua memperkenalkan dan melatih kegiatan bermain Paper Toys dimulai sejak usia dini.
English Abstract
The activity of playing paper toys played an important role in a balance left brain right hemisphere and so can increase of cognitive development children with using a function of the brain. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of the activity of playing paper toys to tk a group of cognitive development in children aged preschool. Researchers used in this research design quasy research experiment with the approach control group posttest design only. This research was carried out on preschool age children in kindergarten State Trustees in Pare Kediri. The sample of the study were 22 respondents are divided into 2 groups: the treatment group and the control group. The independent variables are playing the Paper Toys activity and the dependent variable is the cognitive development. The collection of data by observation. Before indicated by the results of the research, the research carried out for 2 x / week in 2 weeks in a row. The research data analysis using the Mann-Whitney test, the results of research on the treatment and control groups showed a significant (p = 0.015), whereas the Mann-Whitney test obtained value (p = 0.05). Results of the study indicated the presence of playing Paper Toys activity against cognitive development of preschool age children in the treatment group in kindergarten State Trustees in Pare Kediri with demonstrated the differences in results between the cognitive development of the treatment group and the control group. Recommended for pediatric nurses, teachers and parents to introduce and train play activities Paper Toys started at an early age.
