Abstract
Pubertas merupakan masa peralihan antara masa kanak-kanak dan dewasa dalam tahapan-tahapan yang dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah faktor neuroendokrin kompleks yang bertanggung jawab terhadap awitan dan perkembangan menuju maturitas seksual yang sempurna. Dewasa ini terjadi perubahan onset pubertas dini lebih cepat dari generasi sebelumnya. Beberapa penelitian di luar negeri telah membuktikan bahwa ketiadaan figur ayah di rumah merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab pubertas dini pada anak perempuan. Di Indonesia belum pernah dilakukan penelitian tentang hal tersebut padahal data statistik menunjukkan angka perceraian di Indonesia terus meningkat dan notabene tertinggi se-Asia Pasifik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ketiadaan figur ayah berpengaruh terhadap pubertas dini pada remaja putri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswi SD/MI di Kecamatan Singosari dan Lawang yang berjumlah 66 siswi, terdiri dari 33 siswi yang mengalami ketiadaan figur ayah karena perceraian dan 33 siswi yang tinggal dengan orang tua lengkap. Variabel yang diukur adalah kecemasan, ketiadaan figur ayah karena perceraian dan pubertas dini. Hasil analisis uji statistik Chi Square menunjukkan bahwa ketiadaan figur ayah karena perceraian memiliki hubungan yang bermakna (p=0,000) dengan terjadinya kecemasan. Sedangkan kecemasan dan ketiadaan figur ayah karena perceraian memiliki hubungan yang tidak bermakna (p=0,167 dan p=0,170) dengan pubertas dini pada remaja putri.
English Abstract
Puberty is a time of transition between childhood and adulthood in stages that are influenced by a number of complex neuroendocrine factors responsible for the onset and development toward perfect sexual maturity. Today there is a change of early onset puberty faster than the previous generation. Some overseas studies have shown that the absence of a father figure in the home is one of the causes of early puberty in girls. In Indonesia, there had never done research on it when statistics show the number of divorces in Indonesia continues to increase, and in fact the highest in Asia Pacific. Therefore, this study aimed to determine whether the father absence influence on early puberty in girls. This study used analytic observational method with case-control approach. Respondents in this study were elementary school in Singosari and Lawang, amounting to 66 girls, consisting of 33 female students whose father was absent because of divorce and 33 female student who live with complete parents. The variables measured were anxiety, father absence because of divorce and early puberty. The results of the analysis of Chi Square statistical test showed that father absence because of divorce had a significant association (p=0.000) with the incidence of anxiety. Whereas anxiety and father absence because of divorce had no significant association (p=0.167 and p=0,170) with early puberty in girls
