Abstract
Stroke adalah gangguan fungsional otak yang terjadi secara mendadak dengan tanda dan gejala klinik baik fokal maupun global yang berlangsung lebih dari 24 jam, atau dapat menimbulkan kematian, disebabkan oleh gangguan peredaran darah otak. Stroke menempati urutan ketiga penyebab kematian di Indonesia. Seseorang dengan stroke akan mengalami gangguan klinis maupun sosial yang akan menyebabkan adanya perubahan kualitas hidup secara fisik dan mental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh depresi pada stroke infark. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik studi cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode Judgemental Sampling. Sampel yang didapat adalah 42 orang, distribusi sampel 18 laki-laki dan 24 wanita, 23 sampel dibawah 60 tahun dan 19 sampel diatas 60 tahun, Lama menderita stroke dibawah 6 bulan sebesar 13 sampel dan diatas atau sama dengan 6 bulan sebesar 29 sampel. Sampel berasal dari pasien stroke infark di Poli Neurologi RSSA Malang. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah usia, jenis kelamin, dan lama menderita stroke, sedangkan merupakan variabel terikat. Depresi dinilai menggunakan Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS). Analisis yang dipakai menggunakan uji regresi logistik . Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh nilai (p = 0,021) yaitu usia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap depresi. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai depresi yang dialami pada pasien post stroke infark. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa usia adalah determinan mempengaruhi depresi paska stroke infark.
English Abstract
Stroke is a functional disorder of the brain that occurs suddenly with signs and symptoms of both focal and global clinical lasting more than 24 hours, or can lead to death due to circulatory disorders of the brain. Stroke ranks third leading cause of death in Indonesia. Someone with stroke will undergo clinical and social disruption that would cause a change in quality of life physically and mentally. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on depression of stroke infarction. The study used descriptive analytic cross-sectional study. The sampling technique uses a judgmental sampling method. The samples obtained were 42 people, the distribution of the sample are 18 males and 24 females, 23 samples below 60 years and 19 samples over 60 years, 13 samples had duration of suffering a stroke less than 6 months and 29 samples above 6 months. Samples derived from patients with stroke infarction in Neurology Polyclinic of RSSA Malang. The independent variables in this study were age, sex, and duration of suffering a stroke, while the depression is the dependent variable. Depression was assessed using the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS). The analysis used a logistic regression test. The results obtained value of (p = 0.021) is significant in age in a negative direction. This study provides a holistic overview understanding of the depression of stroke infarction patient. It can be concluded that the age is the determinant affecting the quality of life after stroke infarction.
