Abstract
Pengetahaun adalah domain yang sangat penting dalam terbentuknya suatu perilaku (overt behavior) termasuk perilaku pencarian pengobatan , salah satu factor yang mempunyai pengaruh dalam perilaku terlambat berobat adalah pengetahuan. Namun dari beberapa penelitian terdahulu terdapat perbedaan pendapat mengenai hubungan pengetahuan terhadap keterlambatan berobat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahaun tentang kanker serviks terhadap keterlambatan berobat pasien kanker serviks di RS Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Metode penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan desain observasional dengan menggunakan cross sectional. Sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 40 responden. Sampel didapatkan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling consecutive sampling. Hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang kanker serviks dan keterlambatan berobat dianalisis menggunakan chi-square correlation. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahaun tentang kanker serviks terhadap keterlambatan berobat (p-value=0.000). pengetahaun tentang kanker serviks dapat mempengaruhi keterlambatan berobat pada pasien, sehingga penting bagi tenaga kesehatan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran melalui pengetahuan.
English Abstract
Knowledge is an important domain to forming a behavior (overt behavior) that including health seeking behavior, one of factors that contribute on the treatment late behavior is knowledge. However, there are different opinions about the relation of knowledge to delay seeking behavior at some research before. This study aimed to determine the relation between knowledge about cervical cancer to seeking treatment delay of cervical cancer patients in Dr. Saiful Anwar public hospital. This research method is using a cross-sectional observational. The sample of this study were 40 respondents. Samples were obtained by using a consecutive sampling technique. The relation between knowledge about cervical cancer and treatment delays were analyzed using chi-square correlation. These results indicate that there is a significant relation between knowledge about cervical cancer to treatment seeking delay (p-value = 0.000). knowledge about cervical cancer can affect the delay of patient treatment, so it is important for health professionals to increase awareness through knowledge.
