Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus yang secara endemis berada di Indonesia dan telah menimbulkan persoalan kesehatan masyarakat. Sawojajar adalah kelurahan di Kota Malang dengan angka kejadian DBD paling tinggi pada tahun 2011. Kondisi ini menunjukkan masih banyak nyamuk Aedes aegypti di wilayah Sawojajar. Hal ini mengarahkan pada prediksi bahwa pelaksanaan Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (3M PLUS) masih belum efektif diwilayah ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (3M PLUS) dengan pemetaan keberadaan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti di Kelurahan Sawojajar Kota Malang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah Sawojajar dengan sampel 78 rumah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel independen yang diteliti adalah pelaksanaan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (3M PLUS) sedangkan variabel dependen yang diteliti adalah keberadaan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Hasil uji signifikansi Chi – Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan p<0,1 menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberadaan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti p value = 0,001. Ratio Prevalence didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,418, ini menunjukkan bahwa rumah tinggal yang memenuhi syarat terhadap pelaksanaan (3M PLUS) memiliki faktor proteksi 0,418 kali terhadap keberadaan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah keberadaan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti berhubungan signifikan terhadap pelaksanaan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (3M PLUS).

English Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an endemic disease in Indonesia that caused by a viral infection and has raised public health issues. Sawojajar is a village in Malang city that have most Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever case in 2011. This condition showed that there was still a lot of Aedes aegypti mosquitos in this area. It could be predicted that mosquito breeding eradication program was not executed effectively in this area. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between mosquito breeding eradication activity with mapping of Aedes aegypti larvae existence at Sawojajar area in Malang City. The research was held in Sawojajar area with 78 house as sampel. The design of this study is observational with cross sectional approach. Samples were selected using simple random sampling technique. The independent variable is implementation indicator of mosquitos breeding eradication (3M PLUS), while the dependent variable studied is the presence of Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae.The result of Chi-Square analysis showed significance with the level p<0,1 indicates that the level of presence of Aedes aegypti is p value = 0,001. The ratio prevalence is 0,418. It showed that house that is qualified in (3M PLUS) implementation has 0,418 more protection to the presence of Aedes aegypti larvae. The conclusion of this research is the presence of larvae Aedes aegypti significantly related to the implementation of mosquitos breeding eradication (3M PLUS).
