Abstract
Asma merupakan suatu penyakit inflamasi kronis yang menyebabkan sumbatan aliran nafas dan bermanifestasi sebagai serangan batuk berulang atau mengi (bengek/ wheezing ) serta dapat sembuh total atau parsial dengan atau tanpa terapi spesifik. Asma lebih banyak menyerang anak-anak daripada dewasa, dimana hal tersebut mengganggu kesejahteraan anak dalam hal fisik dan sosial. Sementara itu, saat ini kematian anak karena asma mulai meningkat di seluruh dunia. Penyebab asma secara pasti masih belum diketahui hingga sekarang. Penelitian terdahulu menyebutkan banyak faktor risiko yang memengaruhi kejadian asma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola hubungan prediksi atopi anak, riwayat atopi keluarga, status sosial ekonomi, infeksi respiratorik, jenis kelamin anak, dan asma pada anak. Penelitian ini merupakan studi analitik observasional dengan menggunakan rancangan cross sectional . Hasil uji menggunakan metode analisis PLS-SEM menunjukkan bahwa atopi anak dan infeksi respiratorik secara signifikan memiliki pengaruh prediksi terhadap asma (t > 2,58; CI = 99%), riwayat atopi keluarga dan jenis kelamin memiliki pengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap asma, sementara sosial ekonomi menjadi prediktor yang signifikan terhadap infeksi respiratorik (t > 2,58; CI = 99%). Keseluruhan faktor risiko yang diteliti memiliki pengaruh sekitar 29% dalam menjadi prediktor asma pada anak.
English Abstract
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that causes obstruction of the airway and manifest as recurrent coughing or mengi ( bengek /wheezing ) and can be cured totally or partially with or without specific therapy. Asthma is more common in children than in adults, where it has negative effects in the welfare of children in terms of physical and social. Today, the death of a child due to asthma began increasing worldwide. The definite causes of asthma are still unknown until now. Previous research mentions many risk factors that affect the incidence of asthma. This study aims to determine pattern of prediction relationship between children atopic, family history of atopy, socioeconomic status, respiratory infection, sex of the children, and asthma in children. This is an observational analytic study using a cross sectional design. Test results using PLS - SEM analysis showed that a children atopy and respiratory infections had significantly direct predictive effect against asthma (t > 2.58 ; CI = 99 %), family history of atopy and children gender had no direct influence on asthma, while socioeconomic is a significant predictors of respiratory infection (t > 2.58 ; CI = 99%).
