Abstract

Ranu Grati merupakan danau air tawar yang dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan perikanan. Adanya kegiatan perikanan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kondisi kualitas perairan di sekitar danau. Sisa pakan yang tidak dimanfaatkan oleh organisme perairan mampu mempengaruhi kualitas perairan terutama kandungan unsur hara nitrat dan orthofosfat. Adanya kapal wisata yang beroperasi di perairan Ranu Grati juga dapat mempengaruhi kelimpahan dan persebaran organisme perairan terutama fitoplankton. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Ranu Grati Kabupaten Pasuruan Propinsi Jawa Timur pada bulan Desember 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelimpahan fitoplankton di Ranu Grati berkisar antara 180 ind/ml – 977 ind/ml yang menunjukkan bahwa perairan Ranu Grati termasuk dalam perairan oligotrofik. Kadar nitrat di Ranu Grati berkisar antara 0,09 mg/L - 0,23 mg/L. Kadar orthofosfat di Ranu Grati berkisar antara 0,03 mg/L – 0,12 mg/L. Kisaran rasio N/P yang didapat pada penelitian ini sebesar 0,93 - 5,53 yang menunjukkan bahwa faktor pembatas di perairan Ranu Grati adalah unsur N. Hubungan Rasio N/P dengan Kelimpahan fitoplankton di Ranu Grati sangat kuat dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,841 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 70,70%. Persamaan model linier yang diperoleh yaitu LN (Y) = 5,268 + 0,860 LN (X). Kualitas periran di Ranu Grati mendukung pertumbuhan fitoplankton.

English Abstract

Ranu Grati is a freshwater lake which is utilized for fisheris activity. Fisheris activity can affect the condition of water quality around the lake. Cast-off wich not utilized by the organism can affect the condition of water quality especially nutrient nitrate and orthophosphate. Boat tours that operate in Ranu Grati can affect the abundance and distribution of water organism especially phytoplankton. This research held in Ranu Grati, Pasuruan, East Java on Desemeber 2017. The result of this research showed that pytoplankton abundance in Ranu was between 180 ind/ml – 977 ind/ml wich indicates that Ranu Grati waters are included in oligotrophic waters. Nitrate in Ranu Grati was between 0,09 mg/L – 0,23 mg/L. Orthophosphate in Ranu Grati was between 0,03 mg/L – 0,12 mg/L. N/P ratio in Ranu Grati was between 0,93 – 5,53 wich showed that limiting factor in Ranu Grati is Nitrate. The relationship between N/P ratio and phytoplankton abundace in Ranu Grati is very strong wich is indicated with corellation coefficient 0,841 determination coefficient 70,70%. The analysis regresion of N/P ratio and phytoplankton abundance was shown by the equation LN (Y) = 5,268 + 0,860 LN (X). Ranu Grati’s water quality is suitable for the growht of phytoplankton.
