Abstract
Stroke Iskemik adalah penyakit serebrovaskular yang disebabkan karena penyumbatan pada pembuluh darah yang menuju ke otak. Stroke sendiri masih menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan yang utama dan merupakan penyebab kematian ketiga terbanyak di negara-negara maju, setelah penyakit kardiovaskular dan kanker. Stroke Iskemik dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), tekanan darah, dan kadar glukosa darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), tekanan darah, dan kadar glukosa darah dengan kejadian stroke iskemik pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Kanjuruhan Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi observasional (non-experimental) dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) diperoleh dengan cara melakukan pengukuran tinggi badan menggunakan pendekatan tinggi lutut dan pengukuran berat badan menggunakan Chair Wheel Scale. Sedangkan data tekanan darah dan kadar glukosa darah diperoleh dari data rekam medis responden. Populasi adalah seluruh penderita stroke iskemik, baik TIA maupun Complete Stroke yang berjumlah 65 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara teknik quota sampling. Berdasarkan uji statistik Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), tekanan darah, dan kadar glukosa darah tidak berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap kejadian stroke iskemik. Diperoleh nilai p = 0,410 pada Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), tekanan darah (p = 0,675) dan kadar glukosa darah (p = 287). Jadi, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak adanya hubungan antara Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), tekanan darah, dan kadar glukosa darah dengan kejadian stroke iskemik pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Kanjuruhan Kepanjen Kabupaten Malang
English Abstract
Ischemic stroke is a cerebrovascular disease caused due to a blockage in the blood vessels leading to the brain. Stroke itself remains one of the major health problems and is the third highest cause of death in developed countries, after cardiovascular disease and cancer. Ischemic stroke is influenced by several factors, including body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, and blood glucose levels. This study aimed to determine the correlation between body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, and blood glucose levels with the incidence of ischemic stroke in patients hospitalized at Kanjuruhan Hospital Kepanjen Malang. Design study which used is observational studies (non-experimental) with a cross-sectional approach. Body Mass Index (BMI) data is obtained by measure the height using high-knee approach and weight measurements using Wheel Chair Scale. Whereas, the data of blood pressure and blood glucose levels obtained from the medical records of the respondents. The population was all ischemic stroke patients, both TIA and Complete Stroke that totaled 65 peoples. Sampling was done by quota sampling technique. Based on Chi-Square statistical tests showed that body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, and blood glucose levels are not significantly related to the incidence of ischemic stroke. Obtained p value = 0.410 on the Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure (p = 0.675) and blood glucose levels (p = 287). So, the conclusion of the study is had no correlation between body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, and blood glucose levels with the incidence of ischemic stroke in patients hospitalized at Kanjuruhan Hospital Kepanjen Malang.
