Abstract
Pertumbuhan berkaitan dengan perubahan yang bersifat kuantitas yang mengacu pada jumlah besar, dan luas serta bersifat konkret yang menyangkut ukuran dan strukur biologis. Bayi usia 0-6 bulan dapat tumbuh secara optimal hanya dengan mengandalkan asupan nutrisi dari ASI. Di daerah perkotaan seringkali bayi diberikan susu botol daripada disusui oleh ibunya, sementara di pedesaan seringkali bayi yang berusia satu bulan sudah diberi pisang atau nasi lembut sebagai tambahan ASI. Rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia menyebabkan 5 juta balita menderita gizi kurang dan berdampak pada gangguan pertumbuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan berat badan bayi usia 0-6 bulan yang diberikan ASI eksklusif dan ASI non eksklusif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat studi komparatif melalui pendekatan case control. Sampel yang diambil dalam ini adalah bayi dengan usia 0-6 bulan (50 bayi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 bayi yang diberi ASI eksklusif 23 (46%) bayi mengalami pertumbuhan yang normal dan 2 (4%) bayi mengalami pertumbuhan di bawah standar. Dari 25 bayi yang diberi ASI non eksklusif terdapat 17 (34%) bayi yang normal 8 (16%) bayi yang mengalami pertumbuhan di bawah standar. Dari hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan chi square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% didapatkan hasil pengukuran berat badan P-value = 0.034<alpha (0.05) sehingga dapat disimpulakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan berat badan bayi usia 0-6 bulan yang diberi ASI eksklusif dan ASI non eksklusif di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rampal Celaket Malang.
English Abstract
Growth associated with the change of a quantity refers to the large number and wide and is concreate regarding the size and biological structures. Infants 0-6 months of age can grow optimally only by relying on nutrient intake of breast milk. In urban areas often than bottle fed babies given breast fed by his mother, while in rural areas are often one month old baby has been given a banana or soft rice in addition to breast milk. The low exclusife breast feeding in Indonesia led to 5 million children under five suffer from malnutrition and the impact on growth disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in weight infants aged 0-6 months who were breastfed Exclusive and Non exclusive. The method used in a comparative study of the case control approach. Samples taken in this study were infants aged 0-6 months (50 infants). The results showed that of the 25 infants who were breastfed exclusively contained 23 (46%) infants experienced normal growth and 2 (4%) infants experienced growth below the standard, of the 25 infants who are exclusively breast fed non 17 (34%) infants were normal 8 (16%) infants who experienced growth below the standard. Based in the hypothesis test using a chi-square with 95% convidence level is obtained weight measurement P-value =0.034, it can be concluded that there is a difference weight infants age 0-6 months given exclusive and non exclusive breastfeeding in the work area health center rampal celaket malang.
