Abstract
Luka bakar merupakan trauma yang paling banyak di Indonesia. Kerusakan jaringan pada luka bakar dapat menyebabkan apoptosis sel dan penurunan angiogenesis. Peran VEGF dalam penyembuhan luka adalah stimulasi angiogenesis. Daun cincau hijau (Cyclea Barbata Miers) merupakan salah satu alternatif bahan alam yang dapat digunakan untuk penyembuhan luka bakar karena memiliki kandungan seperti flavonoid dan saponin. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pemberian ekstrak daun cincau hijau (Cyclea barbata Miers) terhadap peningkatan ekspresi VEGF pada luka bakar derajat II B. Desain penelitian True experimental dengan sampel kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Sampel dipilih dengan cara simple random sampling berjumlah 24 tikus putih dan dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok dengan 3 kelompok perlakuan ekstrak daun cincau hijau konsentrasi : 40% (n=4), 50% (n=4), 60% (n=4), 2 kelompok kontrol positif dengan SSD (n=4), Hidrogel (n=4) dan 1 kelompok kontrol negatif dengan NS 0,9% (n=4). Data yang diukur adalah ekspresi VEGF pasca perawatan luka pada hari ke-4 atau fase inflamasi. Pewarnaan ekspresi VEGF menggunakan imunohistokimia dan dilihat menggunakan software OlyVia pada 20 lapang pandang dengan perbesaran 400 kali tiap lapang pandang. Analisa data menggunakan uji One Way Anova menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan significan ekspresi VEGF antar masing-masing kelompok, (p=0.008). Hasil uji Post Hoc Test dapat dilihat bahwa kelompok perlakuan yang paling significan ditunjukkan oleh ekstrak daun cincau hijau konsentrasi 40% (p=0,012). Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah ekstrak daun cincau hijau dapat menyamai obat-obat standar yang ada dalam meningkatkan ekspresi VEGF.

The role of VEGF in wound healing is the stimulation of angiogenesis. amily: Calibri; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: Cincau green leaf extract ( Cyclea barbata Miers ) is an alternative natural materials that can be used for healing burns because it contains flavonoids and saponins. This study aimed to determine the effect of cincau green leaf extract ( Cyclea barbata Miers ) in increasing expression of VEGF in deep partial thickness burns. True experimental study design using two groups such as the treatment group and the control group had been conducted. The samples was selected by simple random sampling and totaled 24 white rats were divided into 6 groups with 3 treatment groups of cincau green leaf extract concentrations : 40 % (n=4), 50 % (n=4), 60 % (n=4), 2 positive control group with SSD (n=4), hydrogel (n=4) and 1 negative control group with NS 0.9 % (n=4).
