Abstract
Jumlah penderita tuberkulosis paru di kota Malang yang tercatat dalam laporan Dinas Kesehatan Kota Malang hingga tahun 2013 sebanyak 1201 orang, sedangkan angka kejadian drop out sejak 2010 sebanyak 204 kasus, tahun 2011 sebanyak 140 kasus, tahun 2012 sebanyak 149 kasus. Kasus drop out memiliki dampak fisiologis, psikologis, sosial, dan ekonomi. Dampak yang paling berbahaya adalah resistensi obat. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian drop out TB adalah kurang pengetahuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dampak putus obat pada penderita drop out dan tidak drop out TB di kota Malang dan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dampak putus obat terhadap kejadian drop out tuberkulosis di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 82 responden yang diberi kuesioner pengetahuan dampak putus obat. Uji validitas kuesioner r hitung > r tabel (0,361) dan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,809. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Mann Whitney dengan CI 95% menunjukkan p (0,000) < α(0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dampak putus obat yang bermakna pada penderita drop out dan tidak drop out TB. uji korelasi lambda menunjukkan p(0,044) < α(0,05) Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dampak putus obat terhadap kejadian drop out TB. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat meneliti lebih spesifik mengenai sumber informasi yang didapat oleh responden dan menggunakan jumlah sampel lebih banyak sehingga lebih mewakili populasi.
English Abstract
The number of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in the city of Malang on 2013 as 1201, while drop-out rate occurrence since 2010 about 204 case, 2011 about 140 case, 2012 about 149 case. Drop out cases have physiological, psychological, social, and economic impact. The most dangerous impact is drug resistance. One of factor affecting the incidence of drop out is lack of knowledge. This study is concern to identify differences in the level of knowledge of the impact of drug withdrawal in patients drop out and do not drop out of TB in Malang City and to identify relationship of level of knowledge in drugs withdrawal on the drop out incidence of TB patients in Malang City. This study using cross sectional design and involves 82 respondents were given questionnaire about withdrawal drug impacts. The validity of questionnaire = r > r table (0,361) and reliability p= 0,809. Sample have chosen using cluster random sampling method. Study result with 95% CI with Mann Whitney test shows p (0,000) < α(0,05). It shows that there’s difference of the level of knowledge of the impact of significant drug withdrawal in patients drop out and do not drop out of TB. lambda correlation test shows p (0.044) <α (0.05) it means that there’s a correlation between the level of knowledge of the impact of withdrawal on the incidence of TB drop out. Future studies are expected to examine more specific about the source of information obtained by respondents and using more number of sample.
