Abstract
Preeklamsia salah satu masalah obstetri di Indonesia yang dapat menyebabkan kesakitan maupun kematian pada ibu dan bayi. Preeklamsia adalah keracunan pada kehamilan yang biasanya terjadi pada trimester ketiga kehamilan atau bisa juga muncul pada trimester kedua. Preeklamsia ditandai dengan hipertensi dan proteinuria. Mekanisme vasospasme pada preeklamsia menyebabkan aliran darah ke plasenta berkurang sehingga asupan nutrisi dan oksigen yang dibutuhkan janin juga berkurang. Hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor lahirnya bayi dengan berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR). Deteksi dini dan penangan yang tepat dari preeklampsia dapat mengurangi angka kejadian BBLR. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara preeklamsia berat dengan berat badan bayi lahir rendah di RSUD genteng kabupaten Banyuwangi Periode tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode case control dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 190 orang. Dari total keseluruhan pasien preeklamsia berat, didapatkan 93 orang yang memenuhi kriteria dan untuk kontrol diambil 97 pasien melahirkan tanpa preeklamsia berat. Variabel yang diukur adalah preeklamsia berat sebagai variabel bebas dan bayi BBLR sebagai Variabel terikat. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari rekam medis pasien. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Analisis Chi Square. Dari hasil uji statistik Chi-Square bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara preeklamsia berat pada ibu hamil dengan BBLR di RSUD Genteng kabupaten Banyuwangi periode tahun 2012.
English Abstract
Preeclampsia is one of the disesases in obstetric and gynecology in Indonesia which causes maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. Preeclampsia is a maternal intoxication which occurs in the second or third trimester of gestation. It is signed by hipertension and proteinuria. Vasospasm mechanism in preeclampsia decreases placental blood flow and also decreases nutrition and oxygen supply to the fetus. This can be one of the factors that lead to Low Birth Weight (LBW) babies. Early detection and good management of preeclampsia may reduce the incidence of LBW. This study aimed on understanding the correlation between severe preeclampsia and LBW in RSUD Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi in 2012.This research used case control metode with 190 cases as sample. From all of the severe preeclampsia patients, 93 cases suited the criteria and 97 cases withoout severe preeclampsia were taken as control. The variables in this study were severe preeclampsia as independent variable and LBW as dependent variable. Data used in this study was secondary data taken from patients’ medical record and analysed with Chi Square test.From statistical test with Chi Square test indicated that there was a significant correlation between severe preeclampsia with LBW in RSUD Genteng Kabupaten Banyuwangi in 2012.
