Abstract
Masa emas (golden age) perkembangan anak terjadi pada usia prasekolah dimana 80% perkembangan kognitif telah dicapai pada masa ini. Perkembangan anak harus mendapat stimulus agar dapat berkembang optimal. PAUD yang efektif sangat bermanfaat untuk membangun struktur perkembangan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan Pendidikan Anak usia Dini dengan Perkembangan Anak Usia 3-4 tahun di TK Riadhus Shalihin Pelaihari Kabupaten Tanah Laut Kalimantan Selatan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian non-eksperimental mengunakan desain correlation dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan terhadap 58 responden pada bulan maret 2013 di Pelaihari Kabupaten Tanah Laut Kalimantan Selatan. Hubungan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dengan Perkembangan Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun dianalisis dengan menggunakan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dengan Perkembangan Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun (p Value=0,000). Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini menentukan perkembangan anak. Penting bagi orang tua dan guru PAUD mengetahui pentingnya PAUD bagi perkembangan anak.
English Abstract
The golden age of child development happens at pre-school age in which 80% of the cognitive development is reached at this time. The child development must be stimulated in order to optimize the development. An effective early childhood education is very useful to build child development structure. The purpose of this research was to knew the correlation between early childhood education with 3-4 years of child development in Riadhus Shalihin Kindergarten Pelaihari, Tanah Laut regency Kalimantan Selatan. This research method is a non-experimental, using research correlation with sectional cross approach, tasted on 58 respondents in Pelaihari, Tanah Laut regency Kalimantan Selatan. The correlation between early childhood education with 3-4 years of child development was analyzed by chi square correlational test. The result of this research showed that there was a significant correlation between early childhood education with 3-4 years of child development with pvalue=0,000. The early childhood education determines child development. So that it is important for parents and teachers to know about the important role of the early education for their child development.
