Abstract
Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Mempunyai Peran Yang Penting Dalam Penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal. Dimana Tidak Semua Jenis Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal Dapat Digunakan Oleh Ibu Menyusui. Adapun Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal Yang Aman Bagi Ibu Menyusui Ada 3 Macam Antara Lain: Pil Progesteron, Suntik 3 Bulan Sekali Dan Implant. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Hubungan Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Terhadap Penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal Pada Ibu Menyusui Di Puskesmas Dinoyo Kota Malang. Penelitian Ini Menggunakan Metode Cross Sectional. Sampel Dalam Penelitian Ini Adalah Ibu Yang Menyusui Bayinya Usia 6 Bulan Sampai 1 Tahun Dengan Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Selama 6 Bulan Dan Pemilihan Sampel Dilakukan Dengan Teknik Purposive Sampling. Variabel Yang Diukur Pada Penelitian Ini Adalah Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Dan Penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal. Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Mayoritas Ibu Melakukan Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Baik Sebanyak 44 Responden (91,70%). Ibu Yang Menggunakan Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal Pil Progesteron Sebanyak 15 Reponden (31,2%) sedangkan Ibu Yang Menggunakan Metode Kontrasepsi Suntik 3 Bulan Sekali Sebanyak 33 Responden (68,8%). Berdasarkan Uji Korelasi Fisher’s Exact , Diperoleh Nilai Signifikansi (P) Exact Sig. (2-Sided) Sebesar 0,579. Maka Dapat Disimpulkan Bahwa Tidak Tedapat Hubungan Yang Signifikan Antara Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Terhadap Penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal Pada Ibu Menyusui. Berdasarkan Penelitian Ini Maka Disarankan Untuk Menggali Faktor-Faktor Lain Yang Mempengaruhi Penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Hormonal Selain Pemberian Asi Eksklusif. Kata
English Abstract
The Practice Of Exclusive Breastfeeding Plays Important Role In The Use Of Hormonal Contraceptive Method. However, Not All Methods Of Hormonal Contraception Can Be Used By Nursing Mothers. Safe Hormonal Contraceptive Methods For Such Mothers Are Progesteron Pills, Quaterly Injections, And Implants. The Objective Of The Study Was To Find Out The Correlation Between The Practice Of Exclusive Breastfeeding And The Use Of Hormonal Contraceptive Methods In Nursing Mothers In Dinoyo Community Health Center, Malang. The Study Used Cross Sectional Method. The Sample Of The Study Was Mothers Who Breastfed Their Babies Of Six Months Old To One Year Old Of Age And Exclusively Breastfed Them (For Their First Six Months Of Life). The Sampling Method Used Was Purposive Sampling . The Variables In The Study Were The Practice Of Exclusive Breastfeeding And The Use Of Hormonal Contraception. The Result Of The Study Showed That 44 Respondents (91.70%) Breastfed Exclusively. Fifteen Respondents (31.2%) Used Progesteron Pills, While Quaterly Injection Was Used By 33 Respondents (68.8%). The Result Of Fisher’s Exact Correlation Test Showed A Significance Value (P) Exact Sig. (2 Sided) Of 0.579. It Can Be Concluded That There Was No Significant Correlation Between The Practice Of Exclusive Breastfeeding And The Use Of Hormonal Contraceptive Methods In Nursing Mothers. The Study Recommends The Investigation Of Other Factors Influencing The Use Of Hormonal Contraception Other Than The Practice Of Exclusive Breastfeeding.
