Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa seberapa berpengaruh polutan garam dan arang terhadap arus bocor pada permukaan isolator berbahan karet silikon. Larutan garam, larutan arang, dan larutan campuran garam dan arang digunakan sebagai polutan buatan. Larutan tersebut disemprotkan menggunakan sprayer secara merata keseluruh permukaan isolator berbahan karet silikon agar menyerupai kondisi isolator dilapangan. Variasi tegangan yang digunakan 5 kV, 10 kV, 15 kV, 20 kV, 25 kV, dan 30 kV. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa konduktivitas larutan berpengaruh terhadap arus bocor. Pada tegangan uji 30 kV, nilai konduktivitas larutan garam 14,53 mS/cm didapatkan arus bocor yang mengalir dipermukaan isolator sebesar 33,96 μA, sedangkan pada konduktivitas larutan garam 24,48 mS/cm arus bocor yang mengalir sebesar 42,27 μA, dan pada konduktivitas larutan arang 0,62 mS/cm dengan tegangan uji 30 kV nilai arus bocor yang mengalir pada permukaan isolator sebesar 31,85 μA, sedangkan pada konduktivitas larutan arang 1,14 mS/cm didapatkan arus bocor sebersar 34,2 μA. Semakin besar konduktivitas larutan maka arus bocor yang mengalir pada isolator pos berbahan karet silkon akan semakin besar. Arus bocor yang mengalir pada permukaan isolator pos berbahan karet silikon akan menyebabkan rugi daya listrik dan rugi energi listrik.

English Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the effect of salt (NaCl) and charcoal pollutants on leakage current on the surface of insulators silicone rubber. Salts solutions, charcoal solutions, and mixed solutions of salt (NaCl) and charcoal are used as artificial pollutants. The solution is sprayed evenly through the surface of the insulator made of silicone rubber to resemble the condition of the insulator on the field. The voltage variations used are 5 kV, 10 kV, 15 kV, 20 kV, 25 kV, and 30 kV. From the test results obtained that the conductivity of the solution effect on leakage current. At 30 kV test voltage, the value of salt solution conductivity 14.53 mS /cm obtained a leakage current flowing on the surface of the isolator 33.96 μA, whereas the value of salt solution conductivity 24,48 mS /cm obtained a leakage current flowing on the surface of the isolator 42,27 μA, and at the valuse of charcoal solution conductivity 0,62 mS/cm with 30 kV test voltage obtained a leakage current flowing on the surface of the isolator 31,85 μA, whereas the value of charcoal solution conductivity 1,14 mS/cm obtained a leakage current flowing on the surface of the isolator 34,2 μA. The greater the conductivity of the solution then the leakage current flowing in the post insulator silicone rubber will be greater. Leaking current flowing on the surface of the post insulator silicone rubber will cause loss of electrical power and loss of electrical energy.
