Abstract

Pada saat ini tingkat kejahatan di dunia semakin banyak karena sulitnya mendapatkan lapangan pekerjaan. Salah satu tingkat kejahatan yang sering kita dengar adalah kasus tentang penculikan seorang ataupun kasus hilangnya seorang ini masih sering terjadi. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mengenai kasus penculikan maupun kasus kehilangan seorang ini, dibuatlah sistem tracking low power pada wearable device ini agar dapat mengurangi tingkat kejahatan mengenai penculikan, dan kasus orang hilang. Sistem tracking lokasi ini didesain sekecil mungkin agar sistem dapat dibawa dengan mudah oleh seorang dalam berpergian, wearable device pada sistem ini diterapkan pada ikat pinggang. Sistem ini menggunakan U-Blox Neo 6M yang berfungsi untuk mendapatkan jaringan GPS, SIM 800L yang berfungsi untuk mendapatkan jaringan GPRS, arduino NANO yang befungsi sebagai pengolah input output dari sistem, dan power bank sebagai sumber daya utama yang digunakan sistem. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur sleep power mode yang dijadikan metode dalam proses pembuatan sistem yang berfungsi untuk menghemat pemakaian daya yang digunakan ketika sistem sedang bekerja. Pelacak dapat mengetahui keberadaan seorang pengguna sistem dengan cara menuliskan kata kunci yang telah ditentukan oleh sistem melalui SMS ke nomor telepon yang digunakan oleh sistem, kemudian sistem akan mengirimkan balasan berupa SMS berisikan data link titik koordinat yang dapat terhubung langsung dengan aplikasi Google Maps. Setelah melakukan pengujian pada komponen SIM 800L dengan keadaan sedang dalam posisi idle sebanyak 10 kali, tecatat bahwa pemakain arus yang digunakan sebesar 0.05A, setelah komponen SIM 800L di berikan metode sleep power arus yang dipakai dapat dihemat sebesar 0.01A sampai 0.04A, dan didapatkan hasil rata-rata penghematan arus pada komponen SIM 800L sebesar 0.033A. Dengan menggunakan metode sleep power pada sistem tracking lokasi ini diharapkan sistem mampu memiliki daya pakai yang lebih lama ketika sistem sedang bekerja dan dapat mengurangi atau mencegah terjadinya kasus-kasus mengenai kehilangan seorang.

English Abstract

Currently, criminal rate in the world is increasing because the difficulty of getting work. One of the highest criminal case which we often heard is the case of people abduction or the case of missing people. To reduce this problem, I created a low power location tracking in wearable device for people, location tracking system is designed as small as possible so this device could be carried by the person while they’re going, wearable device on this system applied to the belt. This system used U-Blox Neo 6M, SIM 800L, Arduino NANO, and a power bank. U-Blox Neo 6M used for the location tracking with GPS network, SIM 800L used to deliver coordinates to the tracker via SMS with GPRS network, Arduino Nano used to configure input process and output process from the system, and power bank as the primary resource which the system used. This system is filled with sleep power mode feature that became the method for the system manufacture which functioned to save the usage of the power when the system is working. Tracker could know the position of the user by writing down a predetermined keyword via SMS to the number that used by system, then the system will send a reply in the form of SMS data link point coordinates that can connect directly with the Google Maps application. After testing the SIM 800L component with idle state of 10 times, note that the current usage is 0.05A, after the SIM 800L component is supplied the sleep power current method can be saved from 0.01A to 0.04A, and obtained the average yield of current savings on SIM 800L components is 0.033A. With this sleep power method expected to be capable of having a longer power usage and capable of reducing the case of missing people.
