Abstract
Penilaian kinerja keuangan merupakan kegiatan yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan, baik bagi pihak internal maupun pihak eksternal. Penilaian kinerja keuangan perusahaan dapat dilihat dari tingkat efektifitas dan efisiensi perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja keuangan salah satunya yaitu metode Du Pont System. Du Pont System merupakan metode untuk mengukur kinerja keuangan yang melibatkan beberapa rasio, yaitu rasio profitabilitas dan rasio aktivitas. Du Pont System dapat menggambarkan hasil kinerja keuangan secara menyeluruh, karena di dalamnya mengkombinasikan hutang, perputaran aktiva dan profit margin yang tercermin pada ROE (Return On Equity) dan ROI (Return On Investmen). ROE diperoleh dari interaksi antara Multiplier Equity dan ROI, sedangkan rasio profitabilitas dan rasio aktivitas akan berinteraksi untuk menghasilkan ROI. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero), Tbk dengan menggunakan metode Du Pont System. PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero), Tbk merupakan perusahaan BUMN sudah go public, yang menjadi market leader untuk beberapa periode. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kinerja PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero), Tbk yang terlihat pada ROE dan ROI yang cenderung menurun selama lima tahun, yaitu periode 2009-2013. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena keadaan NPM dan TATO yang berfluktuasi selama lima tahun, serta Multiplier Equity yang cenderung meningkat. Perusahaan sebaiknya melakukan peningkatan pada tingkat penjualan dan total aset, serta melakukan efisiensi beban dan hutang.
English Abstract
Financial performance evaluation of activities is very important for the company, good for the internal and external sides. The assessment of the performance of financial companies can be seen from the level of effectiveness and efficiency of companies. Methods used to measure the financial performance of any of them is a method of Du Pont System. Du pont system is a method for measuring financial performance involving some of the ratio of, namely the ratio of profitability and the ratio of the activity. Du pont system could describe the results of financial performance overall, because it combined debt, of the assets and profit margin reflected in ROE (Return On Equity) and ROI (Return On Investment). ROE obtained from an interaction between Multiplier Equity and ROI, also the can change ROI become ROE. While the ratio of profitability and the ratio of the activity of roi will interact to produce ROI. The purpose of this research himself is to know the company financial performance of PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero), Tbk by using a Du Pont system . PT. Semen Indonesia (persero ) Tbk is a state-owned company and already go public, which became the market leader for some period. Discussion result shows that performance of PT. Semen Indonesia (Persero), Tbk seen in its ROE and ROI tends to decline during the period. It is because NPM and TATO that fluctuates over five years and the Multiplier Equity which tended to rise. The company should do an increase in sales and total assets, and do the efficiency of cost and debt .
