Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar masalah yang sering terjadi dalam pengelolaan sistem informasi sumber daya manusia di perusahaan. Sistem informasi sumber daya manusia adalah sistem yang digunakan khusus mengelola sumber daya manusia perusahaan berupa data-data karyawan yang diolah dan menghasilkan informasi bagi penggunanya. Penyebab kurang efektif dan efisien dalam mengelola sistem informasi sumber daya manusia pada PT Wiranas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service adalah masih menggunakan cara manual dan belum terkomputerisasi dalam mengelola data karyawan dan masih belum terintegrasi antar cabang. Karena itu implementasi sistem informasi sumber daya manusia yang baru dengan Orange HRM diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif solusi bagi masalah yang ada saat ini maupun yang akan datang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran sistem informasi sumber daya manusia yang ada, melakukan analisis permasalahan sistem informasi sumber daya manusia yang ada, dan memberikan alternatif solusi atau rekomendasi sistem informasi sumber daya manusia yang baru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan wawancara kepada informan selaku direktur PT. Wiranas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service, observasi langsung terhadap kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan pengelolaan sistem informasi sumber daya manusia, dokumentasi berupa data karyawan, serta studi pustaka yang berhubungan dengan implementasi sistem informasi sumber daya manusia. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba penelitian ini adalah alternatif solusi atau rekomendasi sistem yang baru dengan Orange HRM memberikan kemudahan dalam mengelola sistem informasi sumber daya manusia. Pengelolaan perekrutan karyawan, data karyawan, cuti karyawan, dan presensi karyawan dengan Orange HRM menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien serta saling terintegrasi antar cabang di PT. Wiranas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service.
English Abstract
This study is based on common problem that occurs in a company’s human resources management of information system. Human resources information system is a system used to particularly managing a company’s human resources matter, including the employees’ data which is being processed and providing information to the user. The main cause of the less effective and efficient way of managing this human resources information system on PT. Wiranas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service are; they still process their employees’ data manually and not computerized yet. It also hasn’t integrated yet between branches of the company. Therefore, the new implementation of human resources information system with Orange HRM is expected to give an alternative solution for today’s problem even in the future. The main purpose of this study is to find out the description of human resources information system which already exists in the company, to analyze the problem of that human resource information system found in the company, and to give an alternative solution or recommendation of a new human resources information system. The technique used in collecting the data for this study is to conduct a number of interviews to the director of PT Wiranas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service, to observe directly to any activities that associated with the management of human resource information system, to observe the documentation of employees’ data, also any literature which associated with the human resources information system. According to the result of this study’s test, the alternative solution or recommendation of the new system with Orange HRM will give a much more convenient way in processing the human resources information system. The management of employee recruitment, employees’ data, the lists of employees’ absences and attendances will be a lot more effective and efficient using the Orange HRM. It will also be integrated between branches of PT Wiranas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service.
