Abstract
Suatu organisasi akan berjalan dengan baik apabila didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang baik pula. Sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor penentu berhasil atau tidaknya tujuan suatu organisasi, disamping itu juga diperlukan peranan seorang pemimpin. Peranan pemimpin yang mempunyai nilai sangat penting didalam organisasi dimana seorang pemimpin harus mampu memahami hakekat manusia sebab hal tersebut juga merupakan persoalan yang sangat penting. Salah satu tugas utama dari seorang pemimpin adalah ia harus dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya sehingga pada akhirnya dapat mencapai sasaran dan tujuan organisasi yang dipimpinnya. Dari situlah peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul: “Kepemimpinan Camat Dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Pegawai”. Berlatar pada perumusan masalah tersebut, tujuan yang diharapkan adalah untuk menggambarkan peranan pemimpin yaitu camat dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya pada Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang, sekaligus juga mengetahui kendala apa yang dihadapi oleh Camat dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya. Adapun metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah metode penelitian dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan cara deskripsi yang berarti memberikan gambaran secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat tentang peranan pemimpin dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya untuk diambil suatu kesimpulan. Sedangkan analisis yang digunakan dengan menggunakan model interaktif yang berarti kegiatan analisis merupakan proses, siklus dan interaktif diantara kegiatan reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan camat dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang dapat dikatakan masih kurang baik dalam melakukan pengawasan terhadap pegawainya, dimana masih kurangnya disiplin kerja pegawainya. Oleh karena itu diharapkan agar Camat sebagai pimpinan dapat bekerja lebih baik lagi untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya supaya dapat mewujudkan tujuan organisasi, yang selain itu juga didukung oleh faktor-faktor yang ada pada diri pegawai sehingga pegawai dapat melaksanakan pekerjaan yang yang diberikan kepadanya dengan baik dan penuh tanggung jawab.
English Abstract
An organization will run well when supported by good human resource anyway. Human resources are determinants of success or failure of an organizations purpose; in addition, also the role of a leader is needed. Role of a leader who has a very important value in the organization where a leader should be able to understand human nature, since it is also a very important issue. One of the main tasks of a leader is he should be able to improve the performance of employees which in turn can achieve the objectives and goals of the organization he leads. This is where researchers interested in conducting research with the title "district leadership in improving employee performance". Background on the formulation of the problem, the expected goal is to describe the role of the leader of the district in improving the performance of employees in the district Lowokwaru town of Malang, as well as knowing what the obstacles faced by the district in improving the performance of employees. As for the research method used is the method of research with qualitative research in a way that means giving descriptive picture of systematic, factual and accurate information about the role of leaders in improving the performance of their employees to be concluded. Analysis used while using the interactive model, which means a process analysis activities, and interactive cycle between activity reduction, data display and conclusion. From the research that has been carried out, showing that the district leadership in improving employee performance Lowokwaru Malang can be said is still not good for supervising employees, which is still a lack of work discipline employees. Therefore, it is expected that as the district leaders can do better to improve the performance of employees in order to realize the goals of the organization, which in addition is also supported by the factors present in employees so that employees can carry out the work given to him by a good and full responsibility.
