Abstract

Padi gogo (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan tanaman pangan penghasil beras yang dijadikan sebagai bahan pokok utama untuk dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Akibat terjadi degradasi lahan pertanian yang subur dan luas area lahan menjadi permasalahan bagi komoditas padi. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan memanfaatkan media tanam bukan tanah dan ruang kosong seperti atap bangunan diperkotaan supaya kegiatan budidaya dapat terus berjalan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui komposisi media tanam yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga varietas tanaman padi gogo (Oryza sativa L.) pada sistem budidaya tanaman di atas gedung. Hioptesis penelitian ini ialah komposisi media tanam tanah: arang sekam: pupuk kandang: cocopeat (5:3:3:10) dapat memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tiga varietas tanaman padi gogo (Oryza sativa L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2017 hingga Desember 2017 di atap bangunan Fasin Lanud Abdulrachman Saleh, Malang. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah meteran, triplek, batu bata, bata hebel, terpal, papan nama, tugal, cetok, timbangan, oven, alat tulis, kamera digital, varietas pagi gogo, pupuk Urea, SP-36, KCl, air, media tanam arang sekam, pupuk kandang kambing dan cocopeat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Tersarang dengan komposisi media sebagai faktor bebas yaitu M0 = Tanah, M1 = tanah : arang sekam : pupuk kandang kambing : cocopeat (5:3:3:5), M2 = tanah : arang sekam : pupuk kandang kambing : cocopeat (5:3:3:10) dan varietas padi gogo sebagai faktor tersarang yaitu, V1 = varietas Situbagendit, V2 = varietas Gogonitri 1, V3 = varietas Gogonitri 2 serta dengan 3 kali ulangan setiap perlakuan. Pengamatan pertumbuhan dilakukan pada saat tanaman berumur 79 HST, 93 HST, 107 HST, dan 121 HST meliputi panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, jumlah anakan produktif dan luas daun. Pengamatan destruktif dilakukan pada saat panen yang meliputi, berat kering total tanaman, berat gabah kering panen, berat 1000 butir gabah. Apabila hasil uji terdapat pengaruh nyata setiap komposisi media dengan tiga varietas padi gogo maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan komposisi media tanam tanah: arang sekam: pupuk kandang: cocopeat (5:3:3:5) memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik pada parameter panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, jumlah anakan produktif dan luas daun, serta hasil pada parameter bobot gabah kering panen dan bobot 1000 biji. Perlakuan komposisi media tanah : arang sekam : pupuk kandang : cocopeat (5 : 3 : 3 : 5) dengan varietas Gogonitri 1 dapat memberikan berat gabah kering panen sebesar 23,19% atau 5,7 ton ha-1 dan berat 1000 biji sebesar 55,68% tanaman padi gogo

English Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is the main crop for Indonesian public. Various obstacles such as reduced fertile agriculture land and land area become set of problems for rice commodities. The efforts to overcome the problems are utilize plant media and roof top in urban so that rice cultivation can be continuing. The purpose in this research is to determain the effect plant media composition on growth and yield of three upland rice varieties (Oryza sativa L.) with cultivation system on the roof top. The hyphotheses in this research is plant media composition of soil: husk: goat manure: coconut husk (1:1:1:2) can give the best result on growth and yield of three upland rice varieties (Oryza sativa L.) The research took from June to December 2017 at Fasin Roof Abdulrachman Saleh Airbase, Malang, and East Java. The tools and materials used for the experiment were gauge, plywood, brick red, brick white, terpaulins, label planks, drill, analytical balance, oven, stationary, digital camera, three upland rice varieties, urea fertilizer, SP-36 fertilizer, KCl fertilizer, water, soil, husk, goat manure, and coconut husk. Nested design was used in this research. The plant media are M0 : soil, M1 : soil : huks : goat manure : coconut husk (5 : 3 : 3 :5) and M2 : soil : huks : goat manure : coconut husk (5 : 3 : 3 : 10) as a free factor. The 3 rice varieties are V1: Situbagendit, V2: Gogonitri 1 and V3: Gogonitri 2. For the treatment were 3 relications. The observations made on 79 DAP, 93 DAP, 107 DAP and 121 DAP. The research parameters include plant length, number of leafs, number of tillers, number of productive tillers and leaf area. Destructive observations include total plant dry weight, grain dry weight, 1000 grain dry weight. If the palnt media compositions with three upland rice varieties indicate significant result, it will be continue by Honestly Significant Different (HSD) test 5% level. Based on the result of the research, treatment of soil: husk: goat manure: coconut husk (5: 3: 3: 5) give the best result of plant length, number of leafs, number of tillers, number of tillers productive, leaf area, dry grain weight and 1000 grain weight. The treatment of soil: husk: goat manure: coconout husk (5: 3: 3: 5) with Gogonitri 1 can be provide 23,19% or 5,73 ton ha-1 of dry grain weight and 55,68% of 1000 grain weight on upland rice.
