Abstract
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pendapatan keluarga petani cabe Jawa di Kecamatan Gumukmas Kabupaten Jember. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Variabel-variabel usaha tani yang digunakan dalam penelitian antara lain adalah luas lahan, jumlah pohon, biaya pemupukan, dan jumlah tenaga kerja. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah fungsi produksi model Coob- Douglass. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak (Simple Random Sampling) dengan total sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Secara parsial, variabel luas lahan, jumlah pohon, biaya pemupukan, dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan keluarga daerah penelitian. 2) Secara serempak variabel luas lahan, jumlah pohon, biaya pemupukan, dan jumlah tenaga kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan keluarga di daerah penelitian.
English Abstract
The purpose of research is to analyze the factors that influenced the income of javanese chili farmers in the district of Gumukmas in the regency of Jember. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. Farm variables used in the study include the land area, number of trees, fertilizer costs, and labor. The analytical method used is the production function models Coob-Douglass. Sampling is done randomly (Simple Random Sampling) with a total sample of 40 people. The data used are primary data. The results showed that: 1) Partially, variable land area, number of trees, fertilizer costs, and labor significantly influence family income area of research. 2) Simultaneously variable land area, number of trees, fertilizer costs, and labor significantly influence household income in the study area.
