Abstract
Tanaman krisan (Chrysanthemum morifolium) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang popular dikalangan masyarakat Indonesia karena memiliki warna bunga yang sangat beragam dan disajikan dalam bentuk bunga potong maupun bunga pot. Meningkatnya permintaan masyarakat terhadap bunga krisan di Indonesia membuka peluang usaha dibidang tanaman krisan. Teknik budidaya yang baik sangat menentukan kualitas dan produktivitas yang diinginkan. Untuk mencapai kualitas bunga yang diinginkan, maka perlu diperhatikan pemberian unsur hara yang sesuai, karena ketersediaan unsur hara ialah syarat utama dalam meningkatkan produksi tanaman krisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu aplikasi dan dosis pupuk N yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman krisan varietas snow white. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini waktu aplikasi pupuk pada 4, 6 dan 8 Minggu Setelah Tanam (MST) dan dosis pupuk N (urea) 300 kg/ha akan meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman krisan varietas snow white. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Sidomulyo, Kota Batu, Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan ketinggian 1100 mdpl. Penanaman dilakukan didalam screenhouse dengan atap berbahan plastik anti UV. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga juni 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu, faktor 1 sebagai petak utama (PU) menggunakan waktu aplikasi pupuk yang terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu M1: 2, 4, 6 Minggu Setelah Tanam (MST) dan M2: 4, 6, 8 Minggu Setelah Tanam (MST). Sedangkan pada faktor 2 sebagai anak petak (AP) ialah dosis pupuk N yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu N0: Pupuk N 0 kg ha-1, N1: Pupuk N 100 kg ha-1, N2: Pupuk N 200 kg ha-1, N3: Pupuk N 300 kg ha-1, N4: Pupuk N 400 kg ha-1. Parameter yang diukur dan diamati terdiri dari tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), panjang tangkai (cm), diameter bunga (cm), umur panen (hari), umur berbunga dan lama kesegaran bunga (masa pajang). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F) dengan taraf nyata 5%. Untuk mengetahui interaksi di antara perlakuan apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata maka akan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan waktu aplikasi dan dosis pupuk N terhadap semua parameter pengamatan yang diamati. Secara terpisah, perlakuan dosis pupuk N berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang tangkai, diameter bunga, umur berbunga, umur panen dan lama kesegaran bunga. Penambahan dosis pupuk N 300 kg ha-1 dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang tangkai, diameter bunga dan lama kesegaran bunga dibandingkan dengan tanpa pemberian pupuk N. Selain itu penambahan dosis pupuk N 300 kg ha-1 dapat mempercepat umur berbunga dan umur panen tanaman krisan. Penambahan dosis pupuk N 300 kg ha-1 menghasilkan panjang tangkai dan diameter bunga dengan grade AA.
English Abstract
Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) is one of the popular plants among Indonesian people because it has a very wide flower color and is presented in the form of cut flowers and potted flowers. The incresing demand of the society to Chrysanthemum has led to the business opportunities, thus a good cultivation technique would define the quality and productivity of Chrysanthemum. To reach the best quality of flower, the cultivator need to pay attention on the provision of the appropriate nutrients, since nutrients are the main factor ot increase the productivity of Chrysanthemum. This study aim to find out the effect of time application and dose of N fertilizer to the growth and yield of Chrysanthemum varieties snow white. The hypothesis was applied fertilizier in 4, 6 and 8 week after planting and dose of 300 kg/ha N fertilizer would increase the growth and production of Chrysanthemum var. snow white. The study was conducted in district Sidomulyo, Batu City, East Java province at 1100 asl. The planting performed in the screen house with the UV plastic roof during March through June 2017. The experimental design was uses split plot design consist of 2 factors; (1) main plot, applying time of fertilizer application consisting 2 levels, M1 (2, 4, 6 week after planting) and M2 (4, 6, 8 week after planting), (2) sub-plot, dose provision of N fertilizer consist of 5 levels, N0 (0 kg/ha-1), N1 (100 kg/ha-1), N2 (200 kg/ha-1), N3 (300 kg/ha-1), N4 (400 kg/ha-1). The measured parameters were plant heigh, number of leaves, stem length (cm), flower diameter (cm), harvesting time (day), flowering time and vase life (time display). Data was analyzed using analysis of variance (F test) with a significance level of 5%. To understand the interaction between treatment when there is a real effect it will be followed by LSD test level of 5%. The results showed no interaction between treatment time of application and dose of N fertilizer to all observed parameters. Separately, the treatment of N fertilizer dose significantly influence to plant height, number of leaves, flower stem length, flower diameter, flowering time, harvesting time and vase life. Addition of dosage of N 300 kg ha-1 fertilizer can increase height of plant, number of leaves, stem length, flower diameter and vase life compared with no fertilizer N. More over, the addition of a dose of N 300 kg ha-1 fertilizer can accelerate the flowering time and harvesting time. Addition of dosage of N 300 kg ha-1 fertilizer resulted stem length and flower diameter with grade AA.
