Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kausalitas satu arah antara IHSG dengan kurs rupiah/dolar Amerika Serikat. (2) mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kausalitas satu arah antara kurs rupiah/dolar Amerika Serikat dengan IHSG. (3) mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kausalitas dua arah antara IHSG dengan kurs rupiah/dolar Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis Estimasi Error Correction Model (ECM). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah time series yang diperoleh dari Bank Indonesia dan Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) adanya hubungan kausalitas satu arah antara IHSG terhadap kurs rupiah/dolar Amerika, (2) kurs rupiah/dolar Amerika Serikat terhadap IHSG tidak terjadi hubungan kausalitas.
English Abstract
This study aims to: (1) determine whether there is a causal relationship between JCI with a one-way rupiah / US dollar. (2) determine whether there is a one-way causal relationship between the rupiah / US dollar with JCI. (3) determine whether there is a two-way causal relationship between JCI with the rupiah / US dollar. This study uses the method of analysis Estimation Error Correction Model (ECM). The data used in this study was time series obtained from Bank Indonesia and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that (1) the existence of one-way causality between JCI against the rupiah / US dollar, (2) the rupiah / US dollar against JCI does not happen causality.
