Abstract
Masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh negara yang sedang berkembang termasuk Indonesia tidak hanya masalah ekonomi yang terbelenggu dalam tatanan lingkungan ekonomi dunia yang cenderung merugikan.Sebagian besar negara sedang berkembang juga mengalami permasalahan pertumbuhan penduduk yang sangat cepat. Secara bersamaan dalam dua dasawarsa terakhir ini pula telah terjadi perubahan ciri-ciri demografis penduduk dunia, antara lain berupa penambahan jumlah, perubahan struktur dan komposisi penduduk. Sebagaimana diketahui perubahan angka pertumbuhan penduduk disebabkan oleh unsur-unsur fertilitas.Fertilitas atau kelahiran merupakan salah satu faktor penambah jumlah penduduk disamping migrasi. Apabila angka fertilitas lebih besar daripada angka mortalitas, maka pertumbuhan penduduk menjadi positif maka otomatis jumlah penduduk akan lebih banyak. Begitu juga dengan migrasi, apabila nilai migrasi masuk lebih besar daripada nilai migrasi keluar, maka pertumbuhan penduduk menjadi positif. Jumlah kelahiran setiap tahun di Indonesia masih besar, jumlah bayi yang lahir setelah tahun 2000 masih tetap banyak jumlahnya tiap-tiap tahun jumlah kelahiran bayi di Indonesia mencapai sekitar 4,5 juta bayi hal tersebutlah yang menyebabkan ledakan pertumbuhan penduduk yang tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendapatan keluarga, pendidikan responden, pendidikan suami, usia kawin pertama, lama penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap fertilitas wanita pekerja di Kelurahan Purwoasri Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang, baik secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linier berganda dengan metode OLS (Ordinary Least Square) dan menggunakan aplikasi software SPSS 16 . xix Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan antara pendapatan keluarga, pendidikan responden,pendidikan suami, usia kawin pertama dan lama penggunaan alat kontrasepsi terhadap fertilitas wanita pekerja di Kelurahan Purwoasri Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang.
English Abstract
The main problem faced by developing countries, including Indonesia, not only economic problems that shackled in the order of the world economic environment is likely to harm.Most developing countries are also experiencing problems of rapid population growth. Simultan eously in the last two decades also have been changes in the demographic characteristics of the population of the world, which include increasing the number, change the structure and composition of the population. As is known to the change rate of population growth caused by the elements of fertility. Fertility or birth is one of the factors in addition to the migration of population enhancer. If the fertility rate is greater than themortality rate, the population growth to be positive then automatically the number of population will be more.Like wise with the migration, if the value of inmigration is larger than the value of out-migration, the population growth to be positive. The number of birth seach year in Indonesia is still large, the number of babies born after 2000 are still numerous every year the number of births in Indonesia reached about 4.5million babies thats whats causing the high explosive population growth in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the influence of family income , education of the respondents , the husband of education , age at first marriage , long use of contraception on fertility of women workers in Sub Purwoasri Singosari Malang , either partially or jointly . This study uses multiple linear regression model with OLS ( Ordinary Least Square ) and using SPSS 16 software application. xxi Results from this study explains that there are significant negative and significant correlation between family income , education of the respondents , the husband of education , age of first marriage and the duration of use of contraception on fertility of women workers in Subdistric of Purwoasri Singosari Malang
