Abstract

Wakaf uang merupakan salah satu sumber pendanaan ummat Islam pada masa lalu, sedangkan di Indonesia saat ini realisasi wakaf uang yang dapat dihimpun oleh BWI masih jauh dari potensi yang diharapkan, hal ini lah yang mendorong untuk dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman masyarakat Muslim kota Surabaya terhadap wakaf uang serta pengaruh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal terhadap pemahaman tersebut. Dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas masyarakat Muslim kota Surabaya tidak faham terhadap wakaf uang. Faktor internal yang berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman masyarakat Muslim kota Surabaya pada wakaf uang adalah variabel pengetahuan agama, sedangkan faktor eksternalnya adalah akses media informasi.

English Abstract

At the past time, Cash waqf has a huge role as a Moslem’s source fund. While now in Indonesia, the realization of cash waqf that could be collected by BWI still far away from the potential expected. The main goal of this research is to know how was Surabaya’s Moslem comprehension toward cash waqf and the effect of external and internal factor toward the comprehension. This research use square regression analysis, the result shown that most of Surabaya’s moslem lack of understanding toward cash waqf. The internal factor which can influence Surabaya’s Moslem comprehension toward cash waqf is Islamic knowledge, while the external factor is sosial networking.
