Abstract
Mahasiswa yang bekerja adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil peran sebagai orang yang mempersiapkan diri dalam keahlian tertentu dalam tingkat pendidikan tinggi sambil melakukan suatu aktivitas yang dilakukan untuk orang lain dengan memberikan talenta mereka kepada perusahaan untuk mendapatkan imbalan. Uno Board Game Cafe merupakan satu-satunya kafe di Kota Malang yang mempekerjakan seluruh pekerjanya ialah mahasiswa bekerja paruh waktu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat konsumsi dan prestasi akademik terhadap mahasiswa bekerja paruh waktu. Metode peneltian dalam studi ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada studi ini melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, serta observasi. Lokasi studi penelitian ini ialah di Uno Board Game Cafe. Subyek studi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa bekerja paruh waktu yang mana sebagai karyawan di wilayah penelitian. Hasil pada penelitian ini ialah adanya keterkaitan secara tidak langsung antara tingkat konsumsi dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa bekerja paruh waktu, selain itu juga terdapat keterkaitan antara satu faktor dengan faktor lainya, seperti tingkat konsumsi terkait dengan upah/gaji dan tingkat prestasi akademik terkait dengan manajemen waktu, dukungan perusahaan serta motivasi prestasi.
English Abstract
Students who work are students who took on the role as the person who prepared the particular expertise in higher education while doing an activity that is carried out to others to give their talents to the company to get the rewards. Uno Board Game Cafe is the only cafe in the city of Malang which employs all of its employees are part-time student work. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of consumption and academic achievement of students work part-time. Other research method in this study is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study through interviews, documentation, and observation. The location of this research study in Uno Board Game Cafe. The subject of this research study is a student working part-time where as employees in the research area. The results in this study is an association indirectly between the consumption level of academic achievement of students work part-time, but it also contained a link between the factor with other factors, such as consumption levels associated with wage / salary and level of academic achievement associated with time management, support enterprise and achievement motivation
