Abstract
Modal merupakan salah satu faktor utama dalam mendirikan suatu perusahaan. Semakin besar modal yang dikeluarkan semakin besar pula output yang akan dihasilkan dari suatu perusahaan. Penyerapan tenaga kerja juga dipengaruhi oleh besar kecilnya modal dari perusahaan. Lamanya usaha menjadi faktor kedua yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industry kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah variabel upah, lamanya usaha, output dan modal berpengaruh terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja pada Industri Kecil (Studi Kasus Pada Industri Genteng di Desa Padang, Kabupaten Lumajang). Dan variable mana yang berpengaruh secara dominan terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja pada Industri Kecil (Studi Kasus pada Industri Genteng di Desa Padang, Kabupaten Lumajang). Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda dan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa variabel lamanya usaha dan modal berpengaruh terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja baik secara simultan dan parsial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh disarakan bagi pemerintah atau pihak Bank atau lembaga non keuangan diharapkan lebih memprioritaskan peminjaman modal kepada para pengusaha industri skala rumahan atau kecil agar para pengusaha dapat mengembangkan usahanya baik dalam bentuk kredit atau yang lain.
English Abstract
Capital is one of the key factors in setting up a company. The greater the issued capital, the greater the output that would result from a company. Employment is also influenced by the size of capital of the company. The duration of the business become second factor affecting employment in small industry. This study aims to determine whether the variable wage, duration of effort, output and capital have an influence on Labor Absorption in Small Industries (Case Study On Tile Industry in the village of Padang, Lumajang). Also, it study which variables have a dominant effect on Labour Absorption in Small Industries (A Case Study on the Tile Industry in the village of Padang, Lumajang). The Research conducted including quantitative descriptive research using the technique of multiple regression analysis and factor analysis. The research proves that the variable length of effort and capital effect on employment either simultaneously and partially. Based on the results obtained, it suggested that the government or the Bank or non-financial institutions are expected to prioritize lending capital to home-based entrepreneurs or small-scale industries that entrepreneurs can develop their business in the form of credit or another.
