Abstract
Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa program S-1 Jurusan Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Brawijaya terhadap kegiatan asistensi mata kuliah. Kegiatan asistensi ini diukur dengan tiga indikator, yaitu: penyelenggaraan kegiatan asistensi, kompetensi akademik asisten dosen dan manfaat kegiatan asistensi itu sendiri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan uji frekuensi, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa akuntansi mempunyai persepsi yang positif terhadap kegiatan asistensi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari 60% responden menjawab setuju dan 25% responden menjawab sangat setuju, yang menandakan bahwa menurut persepsi mahasiswa akuntansi JAFEB-UB kegiatan asistensi telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kuesioner dari tiga indikator, setiap hasil menunjukkan bahwa 58 responden menyatakan setuju bahwa kegiatan asistensi ini telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, 66% responden menyatakan bahwa asisten dosen memiliki kompetensi akademik yang sangat baik, dan 55% responden menggambarkan bahwa kegiatan asistensi ini dapat memberikan sangat banyak manfaat bagi mahasiswa.
English Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to understand student’s perception about course assistancy activities of Bachelor degree students Majoring in Accounting of Economics and Business Faculty, Brawijaya University. This assistancy activities measured by three ndicators, i.e the implementation of assistancy activities, the competency of teaching ssistant, and the benefit of assistancy activities. This research was held based on quantitative approach using frequency test, validity test, reliability test, and descri tive analysis. The results show that students gave positive perception about assistancy activities. 60% respondents of this research agreed and the other 25 % of respondents strongly agreed with this assistancy activities. It showed that assitancy activities in accounting student FEB-UB has already been performed properly. According to the questionnaire analysis result of three indicators, each result shows that 58% respondents agreed with assistancy activities that has been well implemented, 66% respondents says that teaching assistants have very good academic competences, and 55% respondents described that assistancy activities could give very much benefits to the student, respectively.
