Abstract
Dalam melakukan migrasi internasional Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) menghasilkan apa yang dinamakan dengan remitan. Fenomena migrasi internasional ini banyak terjadi di Indonesia tidak terkecuali di Kabupaten Trenggalek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis investasi atas remitan dan yang mempengaruhi investasi atas remitan. Analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa investasi residensial merupakan investasi yang banyak dilakukan oleh TKI di samping untuk modal usaha, membeli ternak dan biaya pendidikan. Sedangkan faktor yang signifikan mempengaruhi keputusan investasi adalah tingkat pendidikan, status, jumlah tanggungan, kepemilikan rumah dan kepemilikan tanah.
English Abstract
In the international migration of Indonesian Workers (TKI) produce what is called the remittances. The phenomenon of international migration is a lot happening in Indonesia is no exception in the Trenggalek. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of investments over the remittances and investments that affect the above remittances. Analysis of the results of research using quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that residential investment is an investment that is mostly done by migrant workers in addition to venture capital, keep livestock and education costs. While a significant factor influencing investment decisions is the level of education, status, number of dependents, housing and land ownership.
