Abstract
Penelitian ini mengangkat tema pengembangan pariwisata. Ada satu ekowisata berbasis studi lingkungan yang mampu menjadi tempat wisata di Kota Probolinggo. Ekowisata ini terletak di Kelurahan Mangunharjo, Kecamatan Mayangan, Kota Probolinggo. Awalnya ekowisata ini adalah tempat prostitusi yang dirubah menjadi Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH). Kemudian dalam RTH tersebut diberi satwa yaitu Burung Dara yang berhasil menarik minat pengunjung untuk datang. Akhirnya dilakukan perubahan menjadi Taman Wisata Studi Lingkungan (TWSL) yang dapat menambah Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Pengembangan dilakukan secara terus menerus oleh Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo dibantu oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Probolinggo. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan yaitu kurangnya kerjasama dengan dinas lainnya, kurang optimalnya beberapa sarana dan prasarana yang ada, dan kurang maksimalnya dana yang ada untuk pengembangan TWSL. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan pariwisata berbasis sustainable development pada ekowisata Taman Wisata Studi Lingkungan dan untuk menganalisis faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang dihadapi dalam strategi pengembangan pariwisata berbasis sustainable development pada ekowisata Taman Wisata Studi Lingkungan (TWSL). Untuk menganalisis, peneliti menggunakan 3 (tiga) aspek sustainable development menurut Asdak yaitu terdapat aspek sosial mampu memperbaiki moral masyarakat sekitar karena terdapat perubahan dari tempat prostitusi menjadi TWSL; aspek lingkungan mampu mengolah sampah menjadi kompos dan gas metan; dan aspek ekonomi mampu meningkatkan pendapatan pada TWSL dan masyarakat yang memiliki usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan ekowisata dalam perspektif sustainable development di Taman Wisata Studi Lingkungan (TWSL) dapat dianalisis menggunakan tiga aspek. Meskipun dalam pengembangan TWSL belum bisa dikatakan maksimal dari segi sustainable development.
English Abstract
This research is the theme of the development of tourism. There is an environmental studies based ecotourism can become tourist attractions in Kota Probolinggo. Ecotourism is located in the Village Mangunharjo, District Mayangan, Kota Probolinggo. Initially this is a place of prostitution ecotourism converted into green open space (RTH). Later in the green space by animals that Bird Dara managed to attract visitors to come. Finally made the change into the Park for Environmental Studies (TWSL) which can increase revenue (PAD). Development is carried out continuously by the City of Probolinggo assisted by the Environment Agency of the City of Probolinggo. Problems encountered in the development, namely the lack of collaboration with other institutions, less optimal some existing facilities and infrastructure, and maximal funds available for the development of TWSL. This study was conducted to analyze the tourism development strategybased for sustainable development on ecotourism Park of Environmental Studies and to analyze the factors supporting and inhibiting factors encountered in the tourism development strategybased for sustainable development on ecotourism Park of Environmental Studies (TWSL). For the analysis, researchers used three (3) aspects of sustainable development according to which there is a social aspect Asdak able to improve people's moral about because there is a change of place of prostitution be TWSL; environmental aspects able to process waste into compost and methane gas; and economic aspects were able to increase revenues in TWSL and people who have a business. This study uses descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the development of ecotourism in the perspective of sustainable development in the Park for Environmental Studies (TWSL) can be analyzed using the three aspects. Although the development of maximum TWSL can not be said in terms of sustainable development.
